parking can be difficult depending on when you arrive. i got there around 5pm and got a great spot right next to my cabin but the later you arrive the spots fill up and you’d have to park a bit of a distance up the hill.

i didn’t get to have breakfast because it only starts at 7am and getting to yosemite early was important to me. the room was very nice, the location was really lovely and i can imagine it being a great spot for a family to hang out as a sort of base camp to yosemite. food was good but pricey though that’s expected since there’s no where else to go and the serving size is large. it’s just an hour from yosemite.

Big issues with parking space, where if you arrive late you have to leave your car on top of the hill (5/10 minutes walk uphill). A bit far from Yosemite (1 hour to Yosemite Valley), but overall OK.

Parking was not available next to the accommodation and it was a bit of a walk + a climb up many stairs in order to reach the bathroom/shower facilities (I would recommend packing what you will need in a separate bag if you're traveling with a suitcase)

As in their name states the location had a very nice rustic environment woth trees everywhere and a couple of nice viewpoints. We had access to a kitchen (and fridge) which was praticle if you bought your own ingredients for breakfast or lunch the following day (the restaurant does offer sandwiches "to-go"), and the restaurant/lounge area had a very nice warm vibe. Good variety of options for those planning on eating dinner at the restaurant (it all smelled and looked really good, huge portions).

Nothing! Apart from it being a hostel - and that’s my fault for not booking a private room earlier 😂

The amenities at the property were great! A restaurant and laundry were the most used, but the kitchen and extra shower facilities were also great. I’m not much of a hostel traveller, but this was not such an undoable experience. The entrance to Yosemite was close (45 mins) and the Wi-Fi was super!

We didn't know there was another restroom we could've used in an emergency. It would've been helpful to know that when we checked in. Also, not being able to park near the room is very difficult at times!

The restaurant (had breakfast there one morning) was fine. It seemed a bit pricey, but loved the feel. We liked the overall vibe and all the trees and natural settings.

We stayed away from the head quarter. That was a little bit a pitty because we had to drive by car to the restaurant.

The food in the café was absolutely great. The location was perfect to visite the nationalpark.

I would like to see more places to put your things down inside the shower and bathroom area. I had a hard time finding a spot to hang my towel and places for clothes and personal items. The soap for the showers were out. I wish there were more lights to the bathroom and showers. It was a little scary getting to them in the dark.

I liked that there was a bus stop nearby to take to Yosemite. I liked there were multiple activities like yoga, ping pong, and foosball. I appreciate that the kitchen, bathrooms, and showers had a number key pad system for security. I liked the kitchen organization; it allows people who have a specific diet to eat at the hostel. The dinner at the restaurant was delicious, and it had some unique dishes! The staff was very attentive and easy going.

Food was fantastic and it was a lovely area to stay. YOSEMITE valley is tacky and not worth the money, stay here it is better and the 45 min drive to the park is very easy.
