The matterssess in the beds are very soft, as it is the standard in american hotels. However, we are not used to this. Moreover, to have the instructions for using the air conditioner in the rooom would have been helpful.

The hotel team is very friendly. They were helpful in dealing with our demands. The hotel location is perfect and their instalations are enjoyable.

Bits of the room were tired. Bedside table socket didn't work. Only one side even had a bedside table. There was nowhere to do makeup or hair in the bedroom - only bathroom. There was a desk/dressing table area but no mirror. Or lighting really to act as a makeup/hair area. Bed was super comfy. Shower okay but a bit weak.

Lovely quirky hotel. Well appointed and amazing location for everything.

Extra charges - $30 a day for 'amenities' wasn't mentioned at check in. app it's for games room, gym, tea and coffee in reception but that's a crazy charge. offered extra items for a fee - $25 for top floor doesn't say at any point it's per night. and we faced a car park. not worth it. Staff were super unenthusiastic and looked like they would rather be anywhere else but serving you. cleaners kept coming into room on last day despite us having late check out.

great location, decent sized room, good air con, fridge in room, offered a very late check out. comfy bed. good wifi. good outdoor space where you could toast smores. Was a good deal price wise.

Rooms were dated but ok, the hotel was generally pretty tired and in need of renovations.

Very close to Pier 39 in the heart of San Francisco's tourist area. The hotel had some really nice amenities like fire places outside so you could huddle around and have a quiet drink.

Lots of little things needed fixing in the room and the games room equipment was run down… Tea and coffee facilities were poorly maintained.

Very pricey for an overnight stay. Smell in bathroom coming through the vent was not pleasant.

The proximity to Fisherman’s Wharf and other items of interest in the area was great. The concierge staff were pleasant and helpful.

1. The small bath tub is slippery. 2. I had to pay extra for early check-in (at 2 pm) which is usually is expected t be free. I can understand this if you want to check-in much earlier (before 12). the hotel only benefits form clients who check out early. Hence the reverse should also apply where you do a refund to a client checking out early (where you benefit). 3. Rooms on higher floors were available but I was asked to extra costs (which I declined). (The pricing model could be changed)

Overall, the hotel is excellent for the price/value. I would have given a 10/10 except for the three items below (in "did not like" section). The staff at the reception are super helpful. The coffee & tea are good quality, and the fireplace outside is a unique experience. Your hotel could not be at a better location in San Francisco.

The fact that water was only complimentary on the first day and others days, it was chargeable. There was only the option to have coffee no tea or hot chocolate .

The location was brilliant. It was within reach to every where I wanted to go.

There was some minor wear and tear in the room, with the outlets near the bed hanging loose, and a missing shelf in the bathroom. Nothing that really effected our stay.

Location is great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. And parking was easy, if you’re bringing a car.

The hotel did not have a restaurant and you had to leave the hotel to have breakfast.

Room was great because you could see the bay but the daily view of the homeless camped outside the hotel was sad.
