Beautiful hotel on the beach, the rooms are large and spacious. We only stayed one night and there was a wedding on so we dined at a nearby restaurant which was great.

The management take booking for events. Whilst we understand this makes business sense. There is only one bar and restaurant so guests are very limited to bar, restaurant and on occasion poolside during our stay. Albeit they put a note through the door saying due to function this evening you will have to eat in your room. No table in the room and we are a bit old for eating 3 course dinner on the bed. On one or two occasions they said we could eat in the corner of the restaurant during Christmas party - however we felt like the poor relations being sat in the corner whilst everyone danced in their sparkling dresses. (We don’t blame the staff - they did their best to accommodate us) It came to a head a on Boxing Day when we were looking forward to using the restaurant as it was a public holiday and local restaurants were closed. We returned to our room in the afternoon to find a note stating that a wedding was taking place today and all facilities including pool courtyard were closed to guests - we would be provided room service to eat in our rooms !! The note also stated that there were events for the next 3 days limiting guests to all or limited areas. In one week there were 2 Christmas parties and 4 weddings!!! We went to complain at reception and were told - all guests were given notice - yes a couple of hours before the wedding started. The hotel should notify you before taking our booking to state facilities will be unavailable due to function bookings. We booked into the hotel next door at our cost and enjoyed a lovely. We would not return to Sunset Shore due to this issue - which is a shame because the hotel and staff are lovely

My reservation couldn't be found with booking. com. I had to book directly with the hotel and paid more other than the price I saw online. My request towards my birthday wasn't met. The conduct and approach of a certain management person was awful. Someone somewhere messed up my reservations and didn't meet my requirements towards the room.

The staff customer service. The servers were excellent . The food was great. Scenery was awesome. The room was decent.

Food was hit and miss one day food was hot and tasty. Another day fries took almost 45 mins to come and were cold and soggy.

The property is on the beach, close to other hotels and easy to get into town. They also had English plug sockets in the room which was a bonus. Shower was very powerful and water very good.

The pool, the beach, beach furniture and towels, room and balcony, the restaurant - Caribbean breakfast, callaloo soup especially - and staff Desiree and Hudson; front desk staff Mortischa and Angelique. Felt well attended and known, lovely. Sunrises and sunsets. Great location from that perspective. Weddings witness opportunity.

The shower was awful, the water pressure was non existent and the beds were incredibly soft. It is a very basic hotel and the menu basic and quite expensive. It was ok for one night.

The staff are friendly and helpful, I messaged Ronesha via the app to help with a taxi and she made sure there was one to meet us at the airport. I had pancakes for breakfast and they were lovely. We only stayed one night/morning before moving on to an island.

Although we were in an ocean view room the view was obstructed by an almond tree at the center of the view. The water pressure was poor. When you flush the toilet, the bathroom and sink had little or no water. There was no water for drinking only one complimentary bottle on arrival. Although we complained about the water situation, there was no redress only apologies. The Internet was unstable. The cable worked only the first and last day of our stay. Again, only apologies. The wait staff needs serious training. Reports to the Manager made no sense as he too provided no redress. We chose the hotel as a place to celebrate our birthdays but that was a bad idea.

The location was good. It is on the beach. The beach is beautiful.

The property was shut and not been open for many months.. would not recommend this island as a destination. Nice people but destitution everywhere. Had stop in a ramshackle hotel for 3 nights but had to move for the 2nd 2 nights as hotel felt unsafe
