“What an amazing place this is. On the outskirts of Sapa, in the quite village of Ban Ho, is the Orange homestay - one of the most special places I have every been. Overlooking the valley, surrounded by moutains, is Lan’s beautiful home that she warmly welcomes you into. The kindest family I have met: they provide pick-up service from sapa, maintain the cleanest facilities with comfy beds and Lan cooks the most incredible food - honestly family dinner was one of the best meals I have EVER had. The homestay guided us through a treck which explored the local area- we were the only tourists in sight- and we had the opportunity to try a herbal bath which was very calming. Highly recommend doing both activities and the family dinner is a MUST. Thank you so much for a fabulous stay Lan! X”
“We stayed for 1 night after arriving by bus late at night into Sa Pa. We were able to check in at about 1am which was much appreciated. The room itself was comfortable, but parts were a bit dirty and it felt like it had not been maintained. The bathroom had lots of dirty marks which looked like dead bugs around the sink and on the lid of the toilet. We felt that the room could have been cleaned and maintained more thoroughly for a more pleasant stay. Overall, the room was fine for one night, and the location is good for the centre of Sa Pa.”
“PLEASE READ‼️ I was staying in room ‘cozy’ and it smelt fusty and felt damp. I was there for 2 nights and then I couldn’t bare the smell anymore so I put on my air con then a couple of hours later my carbon monoxide detector went off. It went over 300 so I left immediately and then went back after a few hours and it was 90 and then 70. I told the staff member but he didn’t seem to get how serious it can get. He then read on ChatGPT and understood how dangerous it is. So I left and went to a different hotel. I told him to warn other but not sure if he would have. I told booking.com who have emailed the property and I’ve written it on google reviews. If you stay here please make sure they have it sorted. If this didn’t happen the hotel overall is nice and the staff are welcoming”
