The property needs an upgrade/ refresh as the rooms are outdated. Service was good but not great. Buffet was okay but staff was stretched thin and harried.

The facilities are under construction, the restaurant is very nice, food is great,but half of it is under construction,noise is sometimes disturbing The rooms are nice, but somewhat uncomfortable, many steps inside, in the bathroom, there is no shower curtain, and you have another step down, it is uncomfortable

The room was dark . Unfortunately we had laundry service for a small bundle and wound up paying $40 for clothes that were returned damp and with unpleasant scented detergent. Luckily we booked a taxi independently to the hotel because they would have charged $65 for a $10 taxi.

It was close to the Old Quarter.

The staff at Anantara was unbelievable! Everyone from reception, to the restaurant, to the spa employees treated us like gold and we're so incredibly lovely. They even had a free 15 minute shoulder massage for us when we first arrived. The location was fabulous, the property was beautiful – will for sure return when we come back to Hoi An!

The sunken bath (in one room) poses some risk getting in and out - just be careful and take it easy if you have mobility issues. Pool was odd shaped with it being deeper in the centre.

Good rooms. Great houskeeping. Eco-friendly with glass bottles for drinking water, bamboo toiletries etc. Usual Anantara amazing-ness. Striking distance to Old Town. Friendly staff who made an effort getting a cake organised for my mum's birthday. Thank you!

Shower doesn’t have a door so bathroom flooded every time. Speaker didn’t work in the room. Reception area table was filthy. Also the cushion covers on the sofa in reception.

The room have not much light. Unfortunately and surprising the front office servicewas disappointing, we didn’t find a high customer service level being a luxury hotel. Very much interested to sell as much as they could but in a very poor professional way not at all up to a luxury standard

Having stayed in a number of five star resorts over the years, Anantara is overpriced for the overall quality it offers. The overpricing extends even to the cost of cars booked for tours.

Superb location, a hop, skip and jump away from the old town. The staff are absolutely lovely.

The transfer options (to/from the aiport or other hotels) offered are fairly expensive - would recommend to organize your own transfer.

Lovely resort in a great location! Super friendly staff, delicious breakfast and great facilities. Rooms feel like individual "villas" and have a great layout. We had a fabulous time at the resort - would definitely recommend for any couples / families / solo travellers.
