Great location. Got a cheap upgrade to a 4 bed dorm with a very clean bathroom. Loved the cute terrace. Location was great - super close to the bus pick up/drop off location and beer street. Even helped me with my tickets to Phon Nha. Comfortable but not a social hostel.

The bathroom towel provided was not super clean, it smelled a bit bad.

This hostel is a real gem in the heart of the old quarter. The reception always open, I've arrived at 2 am and they checked me in without problems. The room and the bathroom were really clean. The bed was comfy, the sheets were clean, and the air conditioner worked well. The breakfast is included and is really good!

The only inconvenience was that the door of the room made a loud noice every time someone opened or closed it. Our beds were right next to it so the noice would wake us up a couple of times at night with people coming in and out of the room. Other than that, our experience was great.

The location is great, facilities are clean and the staff are lovely! Plus the breakfast is really good too. I recommend booking a tour with them, they have plenty of options and for a better price than other agencies. Overall, it’s a great choice to stay here!

Nothing! There is limited communal storage place for large back packs, but they make it work!

Well from the minute I arrived to when I left, this hostel is a friendly and welcoming place of rest in busy Hanoi. A big thank you to Johnny the owner who thought nothing of giving me a lift on his bike to collect my large rucksack on a return to trip into the city from another hostel. Little touches like hot tea on arrival, a lift, free towel and slippers for the shower, great specious electronic locker in the rooms and nice furnishings in the rooms. Help with booking trips etc. thank you Johnny and team.

I only stayed here for 1 night and it was amazing tho it can be noisy at night but I don't really mind, The property has lift so it was already a plus 1 for me, the bed has privacy and the your things are really secured since you have a locker in your bed area.

If you’re looking for a social hostel with activities, this is not the one. Breakfast options were minimal, but it’s like that in most places.

At check-in, we got transferred to a 4-bedroom dorm for the same price! The dorm was clean. We were in the back of the building, so we had no noise from the busy street. Location is the best.

I arrived at Awesome Hostel in the early hours of the morning and was warmly welcomed. The receptionist was extremely helpful in organising my 12 day stay, along with a trip to Ninh Binh, Ha Long Bay, and a four-day adventure on the Ha Giang Loop - all were incredible experiences. The beds were comfortable, and I especially appreciated that each bunk had its own fan to accommodate individual preferences. The complimentary pancakes in the morning were the best I've ever tasted.

The bathroom wasn't that clean. I had the impression the staff tried to maintain it but other guests weren't so mindful

The pictures of the 4-bed room do not correspond to the actual room The bathroom is not as nice (eg no fancy tiles as in photos) The shower is not separated from the toilet and sink so the floor is all wet
