Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomFriendly staff, rooms are as described, no issues with WiFi or AC. Good location near bui vien walking street with minimal noise. We got room service everyday (although one day we slept in till 12 and someone just entered our room without knocking…) After 11.30pm you have to ring the bell to get in but the door is opened within minutes you don’t have to wait with no issues.

United KingdomNothing to dislike.
Brilliant place, the room was very comfortable with AC and fan. My girlfriend was ill in our time in Ho Chi Minh and she felt very comfortable being in the room and the hosts regularly asked about whether she was ok. They give you water at a small price which is cheaper than 7-11 and the family that run the place are really nice people. Also great location.

IrelandWe enjoyed our stay a lot but for people who are wanting a very social accomodation there isn’t much of an area to sit and talk. This wasn’t an issue for us
We really enjoyed our stay here. Very close to everything but also not loud or noisy. Easily accessed from the street but once inside Lots of steps to the room but good exercise ;). Rooms were very comfortable and staff were very friendly and attentive. Good air conditioning in rooms and coffee/tea kettle and fridge in rooms.

United KingdomThe stairs could be a bit brutal. There’s one room per floor and we were on the 4th floor and were glad not to be on the 5th!
The room was clean, the beds were on the firmer side but not bad. The location was good. The only small niggle was no top sheet, just a square thin cotton cover that was too short - my partner who is 5’ 9” had to drape something over his feet as they stuck out from under the cover.

MalaysiaThe zink wall outside of the room[building will make noise .Early morning,There is hawker will shouting on and off passby the alley.Staircase abit narrow, careful of your head knocking the pillar. After 2300 or 2400, you need to ring the bell to wake owner up to open the door for you..You will feel sorry for that, that's made you can't stay too late at outside. No parking.During weekend, neighborhood might play music at night,so better go back to homestay after midnight.

ArgentinaIf you get one of the lower floors, there is nothing to worry about. However, we stayed on the last floor, and those stairs were steep and narrow. Going to the room each day was like doing a hike. It's not a big deal, but I believe it is worth pointing out.
The location is just perfect - you won't find a cheaper place for a location like this. The room was super clean. Good bed, good AC, good shower. The staff is a friendly family who is always there if you need anything.

Germany- a bit noisy from inside and outside - The room can get super hot. You may need to sleep with the AC on when high temperatures in HCMC to have a nice night of sleep - Would be great to have shower curtain as an improvement
- Nice and lovely hosts that helped making our stay better. They also helped us booking a great transport to Phnom Penh and even took us to the bus - There was always anyone available in the reception for anything we would need - The room is simple, but spacious with a comfortable bed. Plenty of electrical plugs, a boiler and some mugs to prepare coffee. - Great location close by good restaurants, cafes, bus to Cambodia, and even a nice park. Exciting that is also close by a metro station that will hopefully soon be ready - Also walking distance to most of the main attractions - They sell water bottles, coke and beer for a small price in the hostel - We could ask for room cleaning if necessary

Greece- stairs to the room could be an issue if you carry heavy luggage - if its your first time in Saigon you need to wander in alleys a bit to find it ( but this is the magic of travelling)
- The owners are very friendly and helpful - the room was big enough and clean. - Good location - Very good choice for budget traveling, real VFM

PhilippinesNo elavator. Difficult to find their location. But when I finally realized how to go to their hostel it is now easy to find. The small window in the bathroom is kinda see through. So I had to cover it with a black plastic for privacy. To find their hostel: -From the highway, just go to the alley that has a post/signage 241. You will see a travel agency at first. -Walk on the left side until you see will a violet house (Chuyen Chan Nail Spa), turn left. You will see the Bao Anh Hostel.
Upon entering the hostel, the shoes need to take off and put on a shoe rack. The owners, Mr. and Mrs Yu were very accommodating and kind. They were very responsive to all inquiries via booking.com. They allowed early check in that cost VND 300,000. The husband was helpful in carrying my luggage to my room (301) when I checked in and he also brought it down when I checked out. They immediately fixed whatever minimal issue in my room. They also cleaned it when I was away for one day since I left my room key at their desk at the receiving area (ground flr). But I have the option to bring the room key with me. The room key is also the one that you can use to power the electricity in your room. Wifi is fast. The room is spacious and tidy. The bed is actually good for 2 persons. It has a kettle and 2 plastic cups. It has TV, cabinets and mini fridge. It has air con and ceiling fan. I easily get cold so I used the ceiling fan the most. The bathroom has a combined shower and toilet. It has free shampoo, soap, conditioner and tissues. They also sell mineral water. I preferred to buy water from them bec it is cheaper and tastes good compare to the one that I bought from a convenience store. There were also a separate slippers for the room and for the bathroom. Their hostel is near to tourist spots. Either you can walk or you take a grab car/grab scooter. There are a lot of travel agencies near the area and bus terminal/office. I went to Da Lat. The Da Lat bus office is walking distance from the hostel. There is a nearby restaurant along the street near the hostel. The Alley Cat restaurant. There are also a nearby Taj Majal eatery, salon, nail spa, small coffee shops. Outside the street there are nearby Vietnamese restaurants, coffee shops, convenience stores (Circle K, 7/11). There are also pharmacies.
