CanadaA very short walk into town so very convenient and quieter. Our top floor unit with large deck was backed up against the mountain with views over town. Staff was excellent. Breakfast fine (Pho was very good) but a bit limited. Nothing to do with this hotel, but be aware that the whole beachfront in town is being torn up and developed.

Nam the manager, was fantastic. Cold flannel and cold drink on (early check in) arrival and having mentioned I wanted to rent a motorbike, was given the keys to the hotel rental for only 100,000 VND per day. Room was light and airy and with great air con. I had the best sleep of my entire South East Asia trip. Breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit, coffee and cooked food. I wasn’t expecting it but it was superb. Hotel is well placed to explore Cat Ba and explore I did. If I went again, I would book this hotel without thinking twice. Excellent service and attentive host. Nam is a true gentleman!

We had a great 2-nights stay at Catba View Hotel. The rooms really nice and well equipped. Both the room and the bathroom were perfectly clean and well prepared for our arrival. The hotel staff was very helpful and kind (by far the kindest hotel staff in our Vietnam journey so far). - the manager recommended us a couple of great restaurants and cafes as well as booked for us the bus tickets to Ninh Binh. The hotel offers also motorbike rental service and laundry service (both at a very affordable price). To sum up, we strongly recommend staying at Catba View Hotel.

SpainThe room was a bit noisy, we could hear the neighbours' AC machine all night as it was placed on our balcony. Also we did not have warm water when showering, but I think it was not the hotel's fault. Apart from that all was fine.
Great hotel with awesome staff. Nam was very helpful and always super friendly. The price quality of this hotel is amazing. Location is also perfect, in a more quiet street but still close to everything.

The hotel was great value for money, beautifully clean with great amenities. The absolute best thing about Cat Ba View Hotel though is the staff! Mr.Nam went above and beyond and was just so helpful. My friend actually left her apple watch in her room and Mr.Nam sent it to his brother in Hanoi who hand delivered it to our next accommodation. It is hard to come by such incredible service.

IsraelIt's not the fault of the hotel- there are construction all over the city due to typhoon damages, including in the main street so its hard to walk in some places.
The staff is amazing! smiling and welcoming, very helpfull and provide information about the island. There is loundry service, good breakfast, beach towels. everything is clean and nice. close to the center but not on the main road so it is quiet.

ItalyI had an absolutely perfect stay at this wonderful hotel. The room was spotless, incredibly clean, and equipped with every comfort. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and always available, ready to meet any need with a smile. Breakfast was a real delight, with a wide selection of delicious options that catered to every taste. The hotel's location is simply ideal, just a stone's throw from the city center and surrounded by the main areas of characteristic bars and restaurants, which made our evenings truly special. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. Every detail is meticulously taken care of, and the atmosphere is warm and relaxing. A 10++++ experience that I hope to repeat soon!
