Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Only two items of note were that the air con was slightly weak, which didn't affect us too much but would have been good to have, and that we didn't realise the welcome basket was not complimentary! but was to too expensive so just a small note.
Incredible location, really close to some great Hanoi hotspots. The staff were extremely friendly and happy to help. The room was fantastic, comfortable beds, amazing value for money. We stayed in other hotels (some more expensive!) during our time, and none compared to this. Would highly recommend!

Great place to stay at the heart of beer street in Hanoi. Staff were friendly, they helped us out with getting a proper power adapter, airport pickup service to make sure we weren't scammed and even booked us a limo bus to Ninh Binh.

It was on a loud busy strip but they offered ear buds to the guests for sleeping.
Staff were welcoming and very supportive during the trip. They provided maps and recommendations and also can organise tours for you during your stay.

Most hotels in the area and in this price point have free breakfast.
I was a little disappointed when we arrived as the photos made it look like a big hotel whereas it's actually just rooms above a reception and a small cafe. However our room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and the location was AMAZING ...literally on the end of the main eating / drinking street in the heart of the old quarter. It had a double layer of double glazing so although our room looked out onto the street it was super quiet and we had a lovely stay .

Good location in the middle of all the action on beer street and walking distance from the lake pagoda. Loved all the cafe and action around Staff gave us room on the silent side higher floor so we weren’t bothered by the noise. Got connecting rooms for the family. Rooms were very nice and beds were comfortable. Staff were helpful

The location is definitely at a “happening” place. So if one is light sleeper it be challenging. But for us we totally didn’t mind and had no problem zzz.
The connecting room was amazing! Great for our family of 5. The adult gets our own space! The staff is amazing! Every time we went for our outing the staff will pack us bottles of water to bring out! We could also just go down for bbq dinner and massage while kids stayed in hotel room to enjoy their own time.

Almost nothing. The water pressure in the shower could have been a bit better (we were at level 9) but it was still fine.
Staff were so friendly and attentive. They have given us some solid recommendations for places to try in Hanoi.The rooms were very spacious, clean and well maintained. Couldn't fault the location either - it was right in the middle of the hustle and bustle, and is within walking distance from most places.

Not much of a street view.
Staff were extremely friendly and front desk spoke pretty good English and could recommend places of interest. Location was good. Right in the middle of the Old Quarter with lots of food nearby. Gladly extended out checkout until 1pm as my wife was "stranded" (shopping) at Dong Xuan Market

Not as big as I had imagined.
Friendly staff. Got upgraded on the first night and allowed us to store our luggages at the hotel while we went to Halong Bay for 2 nights. Hotel staff always texted us to check on our wellbeing and satisfaction of the room.

The address was wrong when I booked it and tried to find it. I got lost for a while actually! I found the space too small. I booked a triple room and could barely walk anywhere without bumping into something.
It’s a very clean place and located in the city centre. It was great to walk everywhere. The staff were helpful and provided great service.
