Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Room was clean, and big enough for four people 2 adults and 2 kids. Ms.Karathy was very helpful throughout our stay and showed us some of the lovely places to visit. Overall I give our stay a 10 out of 10

The bathroom was quite small and had drainage problems and a smell. The hotel is currently being refurbished and has no lobby area or communal space. The pictures online were a bit misleading as the refurbishment isn’t completed.
The property had a great location, situated on Beer Street. It was clean with good air conditioning. the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very attentive and helpful.

Even though we had a room facing to the back, this one was more noisy than the soundproof one facing to the front last time we stayed with the hotel.
We came back a second time during our holiday - this time we got an upgrade to a huge room. Great, friendly and reliable staff which can organize transportation and trips to many different destinations for you. Very central location in crowded street (especially in evenings and weekends).

Great service! The staff helped us book train and bus tickets to/from Sapa and was very reliable and fast in communication. The hotel is located in the heart of the Old Quarter so that in the evenings (esp. in the weekends) the street is extremely crowded and noisy. However, the windows of rooms facing the street are perfectly soundproof. Great value for money! We came back a second time during our holiday.

I had a great time at Hanoi Center Silk Hotel & Travel. The staff is really nice and forthcoming. They helped me with both the taxi pick up from the airport and just generally to find my way out and about in Hanoi. They also gave recommendations for local places to visit and eat. I would recommend the hotel.

Currently the reception area is unfortunately basicly a construction side with quite some noise. Luckily you couldn't hear it in the room (stayed on the 2nd floor).
Perfect location to explore the old town of Hanoi. The service staff around Jay was always super friendly and open to help if you need anything. A cheap and fast laundry service is available. The best soundproof windows I have seen in whole Vietnam.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Jay, Kathy, Phuong and Minh really helped us out when our son got sick. The location of the hotel is close to beer street, which is vibrant and full of life. We asked the staff to have a quite room so we wouldn't hear to much noise. They arranged it for us. So we had a very good stay.

Unlimited drinking water and a good restaurant/bar could impressed us more.
The staffs were really nice and cordial. Helped us finding things around the city. We really appreciate the warm welcome provided to all of us. Tidy and clean rooms with required amenities were available. Local tourism reference and guidance was good by Ms Karathy.
