The staff was really friendly, Karathy and Jay helped us to book the halong tour and the ride to the airport. The hotel is close to the beer street but they have sound proof windows so we slept well.

the area can be quite noisy at night because the beer street is just downstairs. but we stayed in the highest level (level 9) hence we managed to avoid the noise at night

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. They don’t have a restaurant in the hotel, but even this was not an issue because they are located in a great area with amazing restaurants. It was actually good because it led to us trying more of the local cuisine than I usually would when traveling abroad. Even if you have a weak stomach you will be ok because there are restaurants that serve western dishes, fast food joints such as McDonalds and supermarkets all in walking distance.

This was my first time in Vietnam and I could not have had a better time. The customer service is the best. They went above and beyond from the moment I made the reservation. They made great recommendations for day trips outside and in HaNoi which made my life so much easier since I had to do way less research to know how to make the most out of my time in Vietnam. The staff was always happy and efficient, whenever we entered or exited they would greet us and ask if we were in need of anything. A member of our group was celebrating her birthday and they helped us organize a surprise for her with cake and flowers when we came back from our day trip. She loved it and it definitely made this a birthday she will remember. They were always helpful and no request was too small or too big. The room looked just like in the pictures. They had AC in the room which is a must in the hot days. We also had no noise issues even though we were on the 2nd floor and the street is very active at night. Having a good night sleep will not be an issue because of the double windows. The location is amazing. There are several restaurants nearby where you can experience the local cuisine with a great range of prices, from cheap to fancy. You are also in walking distance to many of the must see locations in HaNoi such as the Hoa Lo Prison, St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Hoan Kiem Lake, the Train Street, the Night Market, and Hang Gai (Silk Street). Even if you want to go somewhere a little bit far which might require a car ride, the staff will assist you getting a cab to and from the location and help you avoid any possible scammers. If you like to take pictures, there are several places just outside that provide a great background, instagram worthy ;). I really enjoyed my stay and I know this is where I am staying next time!
