Alk the staff were very nice and helpful. Bean speaks English very good. At the place you can play the pool order good food or maybe swim in a swimming pool. Also I have chosen to book from this place ha Giang loup tour and it was very good decision. I definitely recommend this place

We really liked this hostel! Bean and the rest of the staff is extremely friendly, offered to drive us to town for free, communication was very quickly and effortless - just extraordinarily helpful! The room offered everything you needed, AC and fan. There‘s a pool and a good restaurant at the hostel, too. Friendly and chill atmosphere, would recommend !! 😊😊

Nothing to complain about. Comfortable, quite clean, good food, friendly people. Nice pool and billard table. Bean, the manager, did organize motorbikes for the loop for us, helped us to plan it and organized a transer to cat ba after the loop. Also we were able to take a shower and use all the facilities of the hostel until our night bus left for cat ba after the loop. And all this with only one booked night before the loop. Sure they also earn money with organizing bus transfers and renting bikes but the service and all the support was so nice and everything was done really relaxed and calm. Stay here for your loop! You can also leave your big backpacks in lockers there. Best and most friendly service experience so far. Absolutely recommendable! One last thing: Do the loop by yourself, don‘t take the guided tours. Follow your own itinerary (and/or the one bean provides to you) and take as much time as you need spontaneously to be able to enjoy all the beautiful places on the loop.

Perfect hostel to stay in for the Ha Giang Loop. Nice and helpful employees. We slept in the bungalows with private bathroom, highly recommended. Nice atmosphere and good beds. The common area is great, where you can play pool, eat, swim, or hang out on the couch. We rented our motorcycle here without any problems and drove the Ha Giang Loop. We could put our backpacks in the lockers, and when we returned, we could shower before entering our night bus. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

Mr. Bean is super nice and helpful. He speaks very good English and did his best to give us a good time in the hostel. He is easy to reach via Whatsapp and helps you out with all your questions. We spent one night in the bungelow which was very clean and cheap. From the hostel we did the Loop tour with easyriders. They drove very safely and the tour was fantastic. I would absolutely recommend the stay and tour here!

The pool is smaller than you think!

Bean was such a wonderful help and made booking the Ha Giang loop so easy! It was a good spot to stay before or after the loop with cute comfortable rooms

Mister bean told us that we Could get a few fines when driving the route on our own (more fines of €60 per fine). When travelling more through Vietnam, we heared a few people who did drive them loop themself and when you go with a group of the hostel, you even won’t get 1 fine at all). Also then driving yourself (without) a group, we heart that 1 fine is the Max.

We had an amazing stay! Mister bean is amazing! He helped us with everything! Rooms are Nice, swimmingpool also and the loop was really great to do from here!

The room

We booked our loop tour through this hostel and it was great. I would rate the tour a 9/10. We travelled with a small group and I would recommend people to go with smaller groups. The stay however was so so. The bed is a mattress on the floor. The aircon didn’t work on our room and the electricity and water didn’t work when we woke up so showering was not an option. However the price was affordable and the staff was very nice. And we only stayed one night upon arrival to Ha Giang.

Mr Bean was super accomodating, helped us book a bus and get a taxi back from our bike rental. Got up early to make breaky for us because our bus came early. It’s a good stop before and after the Ha Giang loop - the pool table is an added bonus.

Very nice hostel with a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were even allowed to borrow the scooter for free to go into town. We would definitely come back again!

The bad behavior of some guests who trashed the pool with their dust and their beer cans. Come on guys, show a little respect to the staff who will clean after you.

Bean is the best. He will do anything to help you and will arrange all your trip related problems. The room is beautiful and smells great. The pool isn’t big but perfect to cool down. I love that place.

Can hear everything that’s going on outside

Lovely hostel with a nice pool, rooms are clean, the bungalows are spot on, all the staff are great. Bean the main receptionist speaks great English and is very accommodating, he booked our loop for us with no issues

Bean made our time in Ha Giang smooth and easy. He communicated well with us before we arrived, made our arrival seamless in getting to the hostel(and the pickup was free) and made organizing our loop tour/ transportation after very simple. Really nice hostel. Rooms were large, very clean and great AC! The Manager Bean is a star, so helpful, sorted everything we needed. Staff are all so friendly and real comminity feel to the place. Did the four day loop through the hostel and was amazing. Smaller group size (9 of us) made for a much nicer trip and was great to get in the pool when we got back.

Located a bit outside from the chaos of the town, this hostel offers a friendly and cozy atmosphere, with nice tables outside and a swimming pool. We particularly loved the bungalow, all wooden and super comfortable. The staff is very helpful as well: we got our bike for the Loop here and received all necessary and useful tips that made our experience very enjoyable.

I couldn’t be more satisfied with this hostel - you should take the advantage not only of the accomodation but also Ha Giang Loop Tour, which they organise - small groups, individual attitude and great programme is all you need for a perfect Ha Giang Adventure :) Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at HGL hostel; the rooms were fresh, clean and cool, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, giving us a free scooter to use around the town, sorting our Ha Gaing tour, and booking us onto a bus back to Hanoi. 10/10 recommend to anyone coming to Ha Giang😊
