What an experience! Very good location, close to the old center but away from traffic noise. Fantastic staff, extremely helpful and proactive for any request involving travel tickets or general information. In particular Ms. Grace and Mr. Dave have been amazingly kind! Very good breakfast with lots of choice.

The first night we could hear music from a rooftop bar across the road - we were on the 7th floor. When we returned to the hotel a week later Grace moved us to a lower room on the 3rd floor which was better. The room window faced directly onto a brick wall just a few feet away on the next building. The room was dark - more/improved lighting is needed. The bathroom floor became very wet whenever we showered and took a long time to dry. No major issues though and we would probably stay again.

Super location in the heart of the Old Quarter - walking distance to nearly all major sites, e.g. Train St, Beer St, St. Joseph's. Excellent staff - special mention to the reception team including Grace and Teddy and Tom, and their very warm welcome and any arrangements they made for us. Spacious, well furnished room with a comfy bed and pillows. Excellent breakfast with a good variety at the sister hotel just across the street. Allowed us a late check-out with no extra cost. We didn't hear much internal noise.

Absolutely amazing. Stayed for 2 nights in the Hanoi Paradise center and I would tell you to stay away from that one. This hotel was amazing. The staff were lovely, friendly, courteous. The rooms were as pictured and the price was exceptional. Breakfast was excellent and location was very central. DO NOT LOOK ELSEWHERE.

Communication with the hotel staff was good however it would be helpful if more precise details were shared when booking excursions through the hotel. The timing of a journey booked to Mu Cang Chai was not made clear in advance. It was sold as an 6hour journey but it actually took closer to 10.

I stayed at the Hanoi Emerald Waters Hotel Valley for four nights during my three week travels through Vietnam in March this year. Located in the heart of Hanoi's Old Town, the rooms are beautiful and spotless; the breakfast spread delicious. But where it really wins, is in its staff. They are simply the sweetest. Gentle, smiling, super-helpful. Dave, Kate, Teddy, Henry, and Grace -- you guys are awesome. Thank you for making my stay so memorable!

Wish we had booked here initially but this was an escape from an appalling hotel. From the first moment very typical vietnamese welcome and our room was decorated as it was our honrymoon Location wise close to the lake and pagoda there and subsequently the Water Puppet theatre. For the train street about 15 mins walk and we found the bars along there worth going to even if not bothered or already seen the train. Room was nice but compact ok for us but there was a strange sound like a fan or a water system going off every few mins which disturbed us. Room was 804 dont know how or of it affects others. Breakfast is taken at their sister hotel across the street.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff were beyond lovely! They were so kind and happy to help always greeting us with a smile. I interacted with Grace prior to arriving and upon us arriving she excitedly came over to greet us! We were helped to check in by a lovely man (I am so sorry I didn't get your name) who was there throughout our stay and again was so kind and helpful. The room was perfect and we even got upgraded on our last night which again was awesome! The location was great too right near the night markets and in the center of things. The hotel was lovely and clean and breakfast was great! I would very very highly recommend a stay at Hotel Emerald Waters Valley, don't skip this accom!

The only small suggestion we have is regarding the bathroom setup. Since there is no separation between the wet and dry areas, the floor can get quite wet after a shower. Perhaps adding a shower curtain could help solve this issue and improve the overall experience for guests.

The breakfast at this hotel was another highlight of our stay. There was a wide variety of options to choose from—both Western and local Vietnamese dishes—and everything we tried was delicious. It was the perfect way to start each day! We also enjoyed the hotel’s spa services, which were truly relaxing. The atmosphere was peaceful, the therapists were professional, and the overall experience was very satisfying. It was such a relief to not have to worry about the quality of the service—everything was well taken care of. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind during their trip!

I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel in Hanoi! The price was very reasonable, and the location couldn’t be better—perfect for exploring the Old Quarter and other key attractions. We booked a triple room, which turned out to be the most spacious option compared to others in the same price range—clean, comfortable, and perfect for a group. What impressed me the most was the staff. They were always smiling and incredibly friendly. Every question we had was answered with great patience and enthusiasm. Most importantly, all the staff spoke English fluently, which made communication smooth and easy throughout our stay. This warm hospitality left a lasting impression on me and truly enhanced my Hanoi experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city!
