A shower curtain between the toilet and the shower would have been nicer to avoid splashing the bathroom floor This is being picky, but would have been nice to have a bit more natural light from the window or a view. It would be nice to have an inclusive coffee option with granules of black coffee only and no mix of dried milk or cream.

Perfect location right in the center of Hanoi Old Quarter, in walking distance to Michelin Guide Restaurants and tourist landmarks. Hotel is nice and clean. Breakfast is buffet style with options to order western style breakfast or pho. All staff was very accommodating and available 24/7. Especially the general manager, Justin went out of his way to explain the events and activities in town to visit and help us with the laundry, airport taxi, and spa. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and would love to come back

Not much. It was a good place to stay.

Location was good for Hanoi. Bring such a busy place, we only found it with the help of google maps. But this would be the same for almost any hotel in Hanoi. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good as well.

Some background noise.

The staff were exceptional, especially Grace, Justin and Clare. Nothing was too much trouble, organising trips and SIM cards for us. They quickly responded to any queries we had, taking all the effort out of our trip. Breakfast was very good and the room was clean and comfortable. Location was good too for exploring the Old Quarter.

Their main hotel is across the street. And that is where breakfast is served. I guess, the only hassle (but bearable) was that you have to be in decent outer wear to cross the street (jacket, shoes) for breakfast.

The accommodations were exactly as advertised. We were in an Executive Family suite. I would say that it is just right for 3 people, a bit tight for 4 adults. I liked that I have been able to coordinate with the hotel through WhatsApp prior my arrival. As I arrived in Hanoi and will directly go to Sapa upon landing, I asked if I could leave some stuff and they accommodated this. And when we returned from Sapa, arriving at 6am, they would have allowed us to check in early if there was available booking, but unfortunately there was no available room. But they have a shower room at the basement to accommodate guests to freshen up while waiting to check-in. Since check in time would typically be at 2pm they allow early storage of bags as well. It was easy to coordinate with them through WhatsApp. They were very accomodating for booking on our behalf Restaurant reservations and airport transfers. Special shout out to guest relations (David, Justine, Grace and Eileen, they were really awesome the entire time.

The hotel is tucked away in between buildings - to get to the hotel, you have to go through an alley way (sometimes you'll have to tell your guide who will be picking you up the exact location)....Therefore, no view. Breakfast was not served on site but you have to cross the street (just right across) to it's sister hotel - Hanoi Emerald Waters Hotel & Spa. Some of the buffet servings were NOT labeled, making it difficult for a person like me with dietary restrictions. Breakfast buffet spread was OK. On the last night I was there, there was NO WiFi at all... but it was resolved by the early morning.

The staff of Hanoi Emerald Waters Hotel Valley were excellent! Very courteous, helpful (the lady even helped to call my booked airport transfer if it's arriving soon). The exec suite was large, comfy bed, quiet. It has ample plug points, fast internet

There's nothing not to like

We're repeat guests. The hotel and service was spot on....that's why it's our hotel of choice every time we visit Hanoi. We would have loved to stay longer, but this was a short trip to catch up with friends.

Everything. The room was clean and comfortable. Because we were a bit in from the main street, it had good noise cancellation. Most places i have stayed were so noisy. The breakfast buffet was the best i had so far, and there were also a few dishes that were made to order, so you know it comes out hot. The hotel room did not have much of a view, but considering we were out most of the time, we did not care. The customer service there was top notch. They were very kind and informative. They even helped organise our transport to the airport. They made the stay worth it. Will def come back again if I'm in Hanoi.

1. The location. Really good, in a street quieter than the others - this is so important when in the chaotic Old Quarter of Hanoi. 2. The staff. Exceptional! The friendliest faces and tones we have encountered aamong the three different Asian cities we visited on this trip. 3. The room - just enpugh space, the bed is so comfy. And the bathroom has good water pressure and a good working flush (super important) 😊. Really great value for the price.

We would have liked a place to sit as a group in the common areas, as there generally is not enough space nor seating in a room.

Lack of window in my room but I knew it when I've booked the room. I just didint now it might bother me,otherwise all excellent!!!

The most helpful and friendly staff ever! Even when I met them accidentally 2 weeks later on the street there were still trying to help,give tips and advices <3 room was spotless and comfortable,very good choice of breakfast,food was tasty and once again the staff! They makes you feel like home :DLocation is central,close to everywhere.
