Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New Zealandwas a nice place, little bit hard to find. the food was very nice, the people very nice. Just one thing which I found missing was soap needed in the bathroom to wash hands after toilet. Beds were comfy, tv and wifi good.

United KingdomIf you could leave some hand soap for washing hands in the bathroom that would be really helpful.
We adored everything about our stay here. The accommodation is cute, we enjoyed having an upstairs and a downstairs, the kids loved that. The rooms are compact but having an extra level made it feel bigger. The bed sheets were super soft and cosy. They have installed good blinds on the windows which helped block out a lot of light in the mornings. We LOVED the food here. Exceptional quality. Real home cooked Vietnamese food which felt very special. I ate the best fish I’ve ever eaten on our first night here. Breakfast were outstanding, always great selection and the noodle soup delicious. Make sure you know you can ask for noodle soup (it’s not on the buffet table they bring you a bowl individually) If we needed anything we got help straight away. Excellent service. The price is fantastic. We’ve paid much more money to stay and eat at far worse places. You will not regret staying here. We saw from previous reviews the karaoke nextdoor can be loud at weekends. It was loud on our first night but not after that. It also didn’t go on late so it didn’t bother me.

IndiaI couldn’t believe the price of this hotel—it was very cheap, yet they provided unlimited breakfast! The ambience was great. The staff didn’t know much English, but you can manage with a translator. It’s far from the city but very close to Dalat’s waterfalls, the main attraction. The best part is that you can rent a bike directly from the hotel to explore the area. The room was a bit small but definitely worth the price. They also booked a taxi to the airport for me, which was very affordable. They offered me early check-in and were genuinely kind-hearted. However, since the staff doesn’t speak much English, you may need to communicate with the owner for any assistance. It's the best place to relax at night as well.

United StatesAmazing place, we had our own tiny home with a garden view, the gardens are full of magical lights, flowers, places to do yoga or meditate or just sit with a book and listen to the birds. Breakfast was amazing and very varied, and one day we ordered diner and it was one of the best diners we've had in Vietnam so far Hosts are extremely nice and helpful too. Totally recommended!

VietnamSome rooms are quite noisy because they are close to the road + dogs are barking
That’s the way you should stay in Dalat - close to the nature, cozy and welcoming. I’ve been to many home stays in Dalat so far and this is my favorite. Plenty of room options to choose from, super friendly and helping host. They also have several types of saunas / steam baths. The owner produces essential oils, that you could try at the sauna Fire place is amazing!

PhilippinesThe cleanliness and organization of the property could be improved.
I liked the scenic view and tent room that we stayed in. The view of nature was spectacular and the bonfire night was a memorable experience. They were also accommodating and helpful to us. They cooked a vegetarian dinner for us at our request. Overall, it's an amazing experience.

Czech RepublicThe place is further from the city (15min taxi ride), with not much places to eat/drink nearby. There is no restaurant in the homestay anymore (probably due to covid). The place was quiet humid, towels didn't dry. I wouldn't recommend for single person to stay.
The owner was very nice, she rented us a scooter, the place was nice as well, both interior & exterior, a bit older but clean. We got a free upgrade for a bigger room. One could grab fresh tea/coffee in the evening or throughout the day for free. It was quiet.
