Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe greeting "welcome home" was the motto of our stay. Phuc immediately welcomed us very warmly and was extremely helpful throughout our stay if we had any questions or needed a recommendation for activities, tailors or food. The 5 rooms are very nicely decorated and everything is super clean. There is also a pool in the green garden to cool off or some seating. If you want a bit more action, you can also play table football or billiards in addition to the hanging chair. There is also the option of using a laundry service or exploring the area with the free bikes. We sat in the large communal kitchen more than once and had interesting conversations. Thank you very much. We recommend staying in Cabbage Garden at any time and will definitely come back!

Where to begin. Phuc ( happiness) has made a little paradise here in Hoi An. Wonderful woman , very helpful, super kind and funny and she makes sure everything is perfect and has the wow factor. Awesomeness all over. The rooms are fantastic , as the breakfast she cooks and serves. The pool , her garden . All the sweet little corners where you can chill. Location is great , close to beach and with bike the old town is easy reachable. Bikes are for free ! We really did not want to leave . If you go to Hoi An .. Don’t hesitate , go to Cabbage Garden.

MalaysiaNone. For convenience in and out of the village area, seek assistance from the owner.
Hoi An Cabbage Garden is a true hidden gem. My friends and I (4 of us) stayed here for 2 night with 2 babies under the age of 1. A car ride merely 10 mins (might be even less actually) from Hoi Ann's Ancient Town brings you to this beautiful, peaceful and immaculately run villa. Having 2 extremely fantastic "Farm to Table" Restaurants within walking distance (Baby Mustard & another recommended by the owner) sealed our memorable stay. Kudos to Phuc, the owner and our ever graceful host who made our stay extremely amazing! Here's what we got for a truly affordable and fab stay: - Huge clean comfie ground floor rooms overlooking the idyllic swimming pool and beautiful village setting around the villa - Assistance for transport arrangements to get us around for convenience - Genuine great food & attractions recommendations without any condescending streak - Help to exchange currency - cash is largely used in Hoi An, so either bring more or plan to withdraw from the ATMS around town *Phuc even helped buy us the yummiest baguette ever for breakfast and got us some local ingredients to cook a simple lunch using her well equipped kitchen Huge THANKS to you Phuc & your team for making our stay such an amazing one. Well done and wishing you continued success for the villa and life.

VietnamThis boutique hotel was 5 star! Every detail was designed to be both useful and aesthetically pleasing. My room overlooked the stunning pool which beckons one to swim or sunbathe in complete comfort. Phuc is a fabulous host. She gracefully ensures that everything is perfect for her guests. The homestay is within walking distance to some wonderful restaurants and a community garden. Free bikes are provide to make the short trip to the beach or town.

GermanyHoi Ann Cabbage Garden means L² (powers 2) to me: LUXURY of the very beautiful villa and compfy service being offered and LOVE of your host Phuc, who takes care not only of all the details you will find in / around the villa (like decoration, flowers, fruits, ...) but also she makes you feel home, taking care so much for you. These two Ls dont go together that often but this place is an amazing exception. Thank you so much Phuc - you made our stay in Hoi Ann that special with a big big sense of home. Looking forward to come home once again... ;-)

The rooms are very well appointed, the balcony is spacious and has comfortable furniture. The hostess, Phuc is super accommodating and can assist with any requests around food or arranging local tours or transport. United StatesHoi An Cabbage Garden is everything you would expect from a boutique villa/homestay. The property is exquisite with thoughtfully designed features in the rooms, the inside common areas, and the outdoor spaces including a fabulous pool and eating area. The rooms are very comfortable with a comfortable mattress and bedding, a workspace, outlets where you need them, and high speed internet. The bathrooms are equipped with rainforest shower heads and lots of hot water. Every room has a true balcony with chairs and a table and all have either a pool or river view. And Phuc, the host, will make sure you have everything you need. The villa is a 5 minute moto ride from both Ah Bang beach and old city Hoi An. The villa also supplies free bikes if you want explore. And the property is just steps away from Vegetable Village, a community garden in the neighborhood. When your travels plans include time to stop and be tranquil, this is the place.
