There was no windows but it was ok cause of aircondition works good. There was the bottle n maybe shampoo and lipuid soap or hair conditional or body shop in there but no rabel on it and I cannot know what should I use for hair n body lol I was excuse the staff to morning call if he can supply and he said yes but... it seems like he forgotten. Fortunately, I was up a little bit later than I expected anyway haha

All the members are really kind and helpful with beautiful smile. The bed is soft and comfort enough, Aircondition is cool enough, The refredgerator was not power on at the first time when I got there, but when I pluged in, it works pretty well. The location is very close to bui vien street as much as can get in some mins, but pretty quiet at the night even though the clubs are very noisy. Over all, I would stay here again for sure if I need to get room near here for sure!♡

Great breakfast, we also got it packed for the early flight back home! In general the owners are exceptionally nice. The room was comfortable, we even watched some Netflix on TV to end our trip :) All in all a very good experience.

Jan’s Hostel was phenomenal! There was a delicious breakfast each morning, the location was ideal, and the staff very friendly. Jan gave us great recommendations for what to do around the city and we even had the opportunity to celebrate Tet with her! We stayed here for 10 days and hope to return one day! Thank you Jan and Lee for everything 🥰

Only very minor things: The light from reception went to the room from the glass doors and it was difficult to sleep. In the picture it looks like there is a table with two chairs but in the room there was only a desk with one chair and it was not possible to sit there and eat. The room itself is very dark because of the narrow streets around Anyway, would definately stay again :)

It is very close to Bui Vien street, I thought I will hear everything but it was very quite around hostel. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was decent. It is really good place if you want to explore city and sleep in good but cheap hostel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Okay location, but don't believe you won't hear Bui Vien's crazy night noise, although there is some sound insulation in the room, which is tiny but does the job for a couple of nights. Airy terrace on the 4th floor.

The location is great, the breakfast is good, the budget double room is nice but a bit small, for a one night stay it was not an issue for us. Jan and his wife are also very friendly and helpful. We recommend this hostel.

We had an amazing stay at Jan Hostel during our trip to Ho Chi Minh. The included breakfast was exceptional and the rooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable and the owners went above and beyond to make sure you had an amazing stay. We would absolutely stay again on our next trip to the city.

Breakfast options could be improved. It’s a very basic breakfast with less choices.

The hosts, Jan and her brother along with the staff are very helpful and easy going. We landed early and showed up at the hotel and Jan had a room ready for us though we didn’t take it as we needed a room with a balcony or window. Due to this reason, she asked us to wait and then provided us with a much better room with a balcony which wasn’t accessible from the room but rather like a smaller terrace outside the room and that worked well for us. There are two separate buildings close to each other where they have rooms in each building. So according to the availability and room that you booked, you could be placed in either of the buildings. Both are well looked after. There is a water refill available at the lobby which was great as finding water in Vietnam without paying isn’t possible.

I’ve had such a pleasant stay at Jan Hostel. The room was really nice, spacious, clean and a/c equipped. It had the softest bed I’ve ever had in my 3 weeks across Vietnam. Also way better WiFi than any other places I went to in Vietnam .The staff are amazing and the location is great. I’ve felt like home. Thank you so much.

The property is close to the main party street so it’s very noisy at night. The bedroom was too small and there were no surfaces or bedside tables to put things on. The bathroom was small and in a wet room style. The breakfast wasn’t that great.

The bed was very comfortable and the room has air con. Not too far from main attractions. The lobby area was spacious, with seats and tables for breakfast. There is a lift that can be used to go up to the bedrooms.

Very cozy and clean room, the owner is very polite and responsive. The hotel is located in the very center of the city, within walking distance to all attractions. Breakfast was very tasty. We liked everything very much, we will come back here again.

Honestly everything was great. Room was clean, staff were wonderful and welcoming. It is very close to the walking street which you can hear from the hostel but its not bad. I didn't find ear plugs necessary, some might. Overall great stay and I would recommend

This is not really related to the hostel, but we were not pleased with the laundry service they recommended, which is one minute down the street. The laundry was finished later than they said, they lost our laundry bag and multiple clothing items had black spots on them which we could not get off. This shop does not have a Google appearance, otherwise we would have left our comment there.

Very nice hostel with great and friendly staff! When we arrived, we were greated with a plate of fresh food and some fresh water, which was really nice. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast is also very delicious and filling. There a multiple noodle soup options or bread with egg or jam. All breakfast comes with fresh fruits. The hostel is very close to the "party street" and you can definitely hear the street in the building. However, in the room, the noise was very low so we could sleep very well.
