The wifi almost never worked on the ship, which would have been fine (more time to look at scenery!), but we had an issue and it would have helped to be able to contact the tour company about it. We booked a promo that included a bottle of wine, but the staff on the cruise had no record of this. Luckily I was able to pull up my reservation confirmation and they honored it. But it took about 45 minutes to resolve because the staff was trying to find the cruise manager. We also booked transportation from Hanoi through the tour company, which proved very confusing. We weren't given a pickup time until after 10 p.m. the night before and it was unclear how to find the bus for our return. There was also a lot of wasted time on the transfer - 30 minutes at a tourist trap and a long wait until it was time to board the boat.

The cruise itself was excellent. Our room was very comfortable and we loved being able to sit on our private balcony and see the beautiful Ha Long Bay scenery. We were impressed with the quality of the food at all the meals. All of the staff on board were kind and professional. We felt the whole experience was well worth the price paid. The kayaking excursion was fun. We skipped the second day excursion to have more time to enjoy our beautiful room and balcony.

Nothing it was perfect

Everything. The entire trip was very well organised. The activities were fun and something for everyone. Kayacking, Cooking class, karaoke, boat trips to caves and early morning Tai chi. Food was abundant and amazing. Weather was overcast however it did not ruin the experience it added to it. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend

Maybe an extra stop off on the itinerary. Food was served a tiny bit cold, but it was a cold weekend.

Staff were excellent, very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The food on the buffets was lovely, especially considering it is on a cruise ship. 5 course meal also very nice. The room was lovely, with massive windows all across (it was slightly different to the pictures of the room we booked as the bathroom didn’t have windows as pictured). Itinerary was good. Balcony was amazing!!

The staff were all amazing, the views incredible, food delicious and the bed was AMAZING! We went on an excursion to a charming small village (with the option to ride a bike around the island) and some of us also went kayaking. There were other activities you could participate in as well - squid fishing at night, bamboo boat ride, etc. And there was karaoke at night and music. It’s was too cold for the pool, but there is a nice looking pool!

Our family, two adults and a 6 year old child shared one room and did the two days one night trip. We were very happy with the cruise. The guide Kong was excellent, he was informative, friendly and made sure to check on the well being of all guests. The cruise itself was a good length of time to get a good look at Ha Long bay. The rooms were clean and the food on board was tasty.

The crew were exceptional. Our cruise director Leo made our stay comfortable and took care of all our needs. Sofia our server is exceptional and attended to our meals. All the staff were courteous very helpful. Our room was huge, very clean and felt like we are at home.

Excellent trip where all the staff including Sophia and Thien make you feel so welcome. Food was very good, clean and tidy rooms very large with excellent water pressure. I highly recommend this trip. For me it's the lovely friendly attitude of the Vietnamese people as staff which is what I will remember most.

Our tour manager is Mr Dung (Toni) who is arguably the charmest and most passionate tour guide we had in Vietnam, who has great knowledge of the tour and has gone beyond expectations yo make sure everyone is happy, safe and well looked after. The crews were amazing with lots of smile and they are all down to earth dancing and singing with us at night! The highlight of the tour is simply seeing the bay go by while enjoying lunch and dinner at the panoramic dining room. The ship itself has a wooden touch who gives a classic feeling and is very well maintained. Kayaking at Hang Luon in the morning is definitely a must do while on the cruise (ticket already included).
