Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI picked this hotel because of its location. It was within walking distance of the things I wanted to see, the War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, and the Secret Weapons Bunker. The bed was comfortable. The room was equipped with a TV, fridge, kettle and coffee, iron and board, hair dryer, and safe. The room is reasonably quiet. The hotel is situated in an alley just off a main road. The area is very busy. It is a residential area with lots of local food places and shops. On our last night, we were kept awake for several hours by inconsiderate guests. This was not the hotels fault. The bathroom was functional. Wet room style shower, which did not get very warm. This is my only negative about the room. We stayed 3 nights. Our room was not cleaned during that time. I was sure if I asked, it would be done, but I wasn't bothered. I did have to ask for some more loo roll on the 2nd day. I was given fresh towels, too. LeBlanc Saigon is situated in a network of alleys off a main road where cars can not drive. Our transport dropped us off, and we had to find our way. I can imagine this being a little stressful for 1st time visitors. We found the hotel within a few minutes by showing locals a text message that LeBlanc Saigon sent us clearly explaining where the hotel is.

VietnamThe bedsheet was not really clean - some dirty spots still remained on it. This is my second time staying here, and I still feel itchy sleeping on it. The pillow was a bit hard, so it was not really comfortable to sleep. The desk is a bit too high compared to the chair - it was not great to work on it.
Staff are friendly. Everything overall looks clean and tidy. Great location to go around, nice places & good food in the centre.

PortugalThe images are profoundly misleading. First of all, its situated in a dark alley, which I would not advise to woman travelling alone. They show bottled water in the photos, mas you get tap water in a jar. It is not 100% bad, but it would never be a hotel in Europe. Its more of a 2 Star Guest House. If you have problem with sleeping with noise, this is not the place for you, since insonorization is terrible. The Lady at the front desk is very kind.

SpainSpacious, very clean and well equipped room! One of the best stays in south east Asia in one month and a half. We felt very comfortable. Excellent value for money! The breakfast has 2 options, including a tasty Vietnamese one. Location is convenient and the neighborhood has a cool vibe, with a lot of typical food stalls and shops. Staff is efficient and kind. Highly recommended!

GermanyThe only thing was maybe that the shower only seemed to run very hot or very cold - but it didn't bother us really!
So many things were great! I loved how the hotel had a focus on being environmentally positive and not wasting things. The breakfast each morning was a choice of a Vietnamese dish or a simpler vegetarian option. I had a food allergy issue which was my fault for not mentioning it but the staff were really understanding and remade food for me without making me feel bad (thank you!) . Easy to check in and within a 25 minute walk to some tourist sites.

FinlandThe room could have better noise cancellation because everything from outside could be heard. But it was not a major issue for me.
The room was clean and the staff was very helpful, even we did not speak sometimes the same language. Still everything worked out well.

NorwayThe drain for shower was a little bit clogged so it didn't drain as fast as it should, I didn't mention this to the staff when I stayed there because I was mostly running around the city, but I'm sure they would have fixed it if I did. It wasn't a big problem for me.
Room as in picture. Aircon was quiet, there's a fridge with a small freezer, tv, water boiler and 2 tea cups, good internet. On top floor they have a washing machine you can use, just buy soap at the family mart around the corner. The location is good, just around the corner from a busy street so it's quiet, but easily accessible. The area is interesting, it's like an up and coming hipster area, so you have a few tall office buildings, but mostly small shops and still cheap food. Would stay here again. Stayed there for 5 days.

GermanyThe lady at the check-in was not nice. Her most important issue was to get the money for the room. Although she had a copy of my passport she did not give me the code to enter the hotel. She did not mentioned that I need a code. When I came back from the ATM , door was closed and I had no idea how to get in. Cleaning the room only on request. If you don't request, you dont get new coffee and the basket with used toilet paper will not be cleaned. So I recommend to request a dayly cleaning.
Location, fridge in the room, kettle coffee and tea, good aircondition

SloveniaA small hostal hidden in a good environment. It is necessary to climb the stairs to the rooms. The rooms are spacious, satisfactorily furnished. Don't expect it to be cleaned every day. There are many restaurants in the area, so you won't be hungry or thirsty. The restaurants are western and street style. There is a Westernunion nearby where you can exchange money in the same way as they recommend online. For a short break in the city, this is a good choice.

AustraliaIt is not located on the main street as the address shows. It is acctually down in a small alley that the taxi cannot come through. I had to walk a long way with lots of luggages. Finally, I found the place, turned out it has NO LIFT! I had to carry all of my stuffs to the 2nd floor, all the way up and down!
Close to shops and eatery.

EstoniaI needed to leave at 7 am on two mornings but the hotel was not willing to arrange a breakfast before 7. I fully understand that one lady is doing the maid's work, cooking the breakfasts and staying at the premises all night, often sleeping in the lobby, so it would be unreasonable to expect her to start cooking breakfast an hour before its official start but some kind of a simple standard solution as a sandwich box would be very easy to organise, particularly when knowing about it almost 24 hours in advance.
LeBlanc Saigon is relatively centrally (district 3, close to district 1) located hotel that covers very well all the basic needs of a tourist like me. Good location, spacious rooms, fridge, tea, coffee and water available, tasty breakfasts cooked to order, easy to let yourself in. Staff is very nice, speaks limited English, but super helpful and if there are any communication problems, they get solved with a help of automated translation. I also liked that my room had an iron and ironing board, very often the hotels in Vietnam try to earn money by requiring you to order the ironing service, but not here.

United StatesI like clean floors as I do not wear shoes or slippers in the room, and there was just a lot of hair from previous guests. I had to ask for the room the be cleaned after 2 days and the bed was made, the towels were replaced, but the floor remained untouched. I cleaned it myself. The bed was a little hard for me, but that is related to my preference and not the quality of the mattress.
The breakfast was always a choice of eggs and toast or a Vietnamese dish, which was different every day. The room was spacious, local cable TV available, good working aircon, hot water, and plenty of light. The location was in a backstreet, which kept the main road noise to a minimum. There is a convenience store, a pharmacy, and a gas station right around the corner. A street market straight across the street, and a handful of restaurants on the block. A minute walk to the cathedral, post office, and other main sightseeing points. The front door was locked at night and you needed a code, which gave a sense of safety.
