Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandAfter travelling South East Asia for the last 6 months, this is the first 10/10 we have given! Lily is so friendly and helpful and can’t do enough for you. She gives lots of helpful advice and answers any questions you have. You can book tours to Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta through her, as well as laundry, which was done in less than a day. The location is very central and the room was great, with a very comfy bed. The breakfast was delicious and there is a big fridge full of drinks, which are cheaper than the 7-11. Although it is close to Bui Vien street and you can hear the bars at night… it was never loud enough to affect our sleep. We would 100% stay here again!

DenmarkBed was not so comfy.
We really liked the woman who ran the place. Very sweet, generous and helpful. She made the breakfast every day. We stayed for 3 nights spending our last days in Vietnam there. The room was small and a little barren, and the bed wasn't so comfy. It was clean. The bathroom was separated from the room with a frosted glass wall, so you didn't have privacy, really.. Location was chosen because it is central and so it was a little noisy from the party street it is directly on. That stopped at some point in the night though. HOWEVER we did choose the location ourselves, we just didn't know exactly what it was like. And since we didn't come to party it wasn't a plus in itself. It's 15 minutes from Ben Thrang market, which we didn't enjoy. It's huge with many different shops, but they all sell the same.

United KingdomOnly down side was my room was right at the top (3rd floor). Did not forward to that after a day walking around the city. 🥵
Staff (Lynn) was very helpful and friendly. It was close enough to the hussle, but far enough away the noise didn't disturb my sleep too much. Breakfast was very good... missed my English Breakfast Tea.

New ZealandThere is a little bit of noise that leaks into the rooms from Bui Vien walking street, and a lot of construction nearby that starts early in the mornings. Shower was very low pressure.
Fantastic location, and price + The host is lovely.

New ZealandOnly downside is that it is on the party street so it was loud at night. I would say this is not a big issue if you are prepared. We knew this before we came though so we made sure we had earplugs.
Great central location. Very friendly owner. Our room had a nice balcony. Plenty of space for four of us. Good shower. Was clean and comfortable. We had the family room with bunks. Owner gave us dragonfruit to try-yum. She was also super helpful with suggestions for places to eat. There is a 7-11 just outside and a bank machine very close.

AustraliaCan be a little noisy at night as it’s right off a very busy walking/ party street. Seemed to quieten down after midnight though. Didn’t really bother us but just something to be aware of
Cute little spot right in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City! The owner in reception was very lovely, even gave us a better room and provided local recommendations!

AustraliaIt was very loud at night - and we were not there to party - but this was not a problem as we had ear plugs for sleeping at night. The host also offered us a quieter room the second night.
It was excellent value for money. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It appears very simple - but it has everything we needed for our 2 night stay. (Including umbrellas for the crazy June downpours!)

New ZealandThe shower pressure was quite weak and the glass door to the bathroom opened onto the toilet bowl, very strange design.
Bed was comfortable, even though it's down a small alleyway off the main bar/nightclub street, it's fairly quiet. Could hear the odd bass but still managed to get to sleep. Helpful to have a desk as well. The owner was very kind and helpful, quick turnaround on our laundry and showed us good eating spots.

AustraliaBest to bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper - the street outside is full of clubs blasting techno and karaoke till the early morning. The sound spill is wild!
Cute little place - super lovely staff who helped us navigate HCMC, book onward tickets, get a SIM card etc. The room was comfy. It's in the centre of the super hectic backpacker district (down a little alleyway) - handy in some ways, a bit crazy in others.

SwedenThe bed in our room was a bit uncomfortable but had no problem to sleep.
Nice, clean rooms and location is pretty much perfect. Just next to Bu Vien walking street if you want to party and very central to the entire city as well. We had a great hostess who really helps you out. She drew on maps for us to recommend places to see and things to do and even helped us speak to airline staff through the phone when we needed to change flights. Thank you 🙏🏼
