I am really trying, and I cannot think of a single thing that I didn't like.

I love this hotel! I stayed here at the beginning of my trip and it was so great I came back to stay again at the end of my trip! The staff are so nice! The lovely Huyen (Emma) at the breakfast is so caring and happy to give advice about where to go and what to do - she is like a ray of sunshine. And Hazel, oh my goodness, she messaged me on WhatsApp even before I got to Vietnam and helped arrange something for me. She was SO nice! And then there's Huang the bartender who felt like he became a friend with his advice and great conversations. Book this hotel and you will feel like you're home.

Great centrally located hotel within the old quarter-with friendly staff. The Mina was within walking distance to most local attractions, markets, lake and shops selling Northface Jackets etc. Lots of eateries down the lane ways. This hotel is right opposite Beer St. You can also zig zag your way to Train St which is very vibrant, just check the times of the train so you don’t miss out.

We did not experience any outside noise by staying in a room with no window but could clearly hear people coming in and out of rooms in the corridor but not in the hotel’s control.

Excellent location in the Old Quarter - very easy to access the lake and surrounded by restaurants, bars including Beer St on the weekend. Great breakfast with mainly local food including fruit and some pastries. Nice rooftop bar which we did not have an opportunity to try.

Everything just perfect

The location is fantastic, straight in the middle of the Old Quarter. And even though you are next to the busiest and the noisiest street, the hotel is quite and you do not hear anything. The staff is amazing, all the time smiling and very helpful. Definately will come back.

We had a basic room, but it was small.

Location was great being in Old Town. Dispute it’s central location in Old Town, the rooms were very quiet. Staff were extremely helpful and attentive. Rooms clean. Staff will pack you a ‘to go’ breakfast if don’t have time to sit and eat. Upon check out, the staff check your room for anything left behind.

Great location - in the heart of the Hanoi’s old quarter, right next to the famous beer street. But it’s still quiet enough in the room. The hotel also has its own roof top bar. The hotel staff is amazing.i would especially like to thank Emily. We have initially only books one night at this hotel, But needed another one. Although the hotel was full and it was not possible to book via booking.com, thanks to her we were able to stay one night longer - and we didn’t event have to change our room.

I really enjoyed staying here. Hanoi is a very busy place, but I enjoyed coming back to my room to the peace and quiet it provided. The bed was comfortable and shower pressure was great. They provided bottled water which was appreciated! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! Breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed it very much. It was also nice to have a couple of drinks on the rooftop. I don’t have any complaints and I would stay here again!

Only complaint is that the walls are thin and you can hear everything going on in the hallway outside of your room.

Great location close to everything in the old quarter, rooms were clean, comfortable beds, and everyone on the staff was kind, helpful, and friendly. They even gave out roses for National Women’s Day which I thought was really sweet.

It is the staff who make your experience at Mina so memorable. They could not be more helpful and friendly. The service provided by Emma (Huyền) in the dining room has to be the best in Hanoi. She is so warm, welcoming and charming. On the reception desk, Emily and Joyce were wonderful with us from start to finish. We would like to thank the manager and all the staff at Mina for a delightful stay.
