I really can only recommend staying at Mood. New facilities, friendly staff, the resort is located in the middle of a paddy rice field, in a calm village. Almost every room faces the pool and the river. I could really see local people rowing from my room. The pool is huge, warm,clean and is open until 22:00.

We loved our stay at Moodhoian so much that we extended from 6 days to 9. It had everything we wanted; amazing pool area, big bedroom with a riverview balcony, great breakfast buffet, the staff were all so lovely. Anna, Sunny, Lily, Linda, Jessie and Amy took such good care of us along with the rest of the team. Free bikes and the daily shuttle into town were a bonus, as were the range of free workshops. If you’re thinking of staying here- do it!!!

AustraliaI stayed for a few days and while the weather was not ideal this accommodation was close to perfect. The pool was big and clean, the rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The staff were attentive and kind, especially Jessy. The location is nice and quiet but still close and easy to reach town.

This is our second trip to hoi an and we chose to stay here again . Such an ideal position . Amazing staff ( Lilly ) especially made us feel welcome again . Comfy rooms beds and lovely to be by the river

United KingdomThe sunbeds by the pool are very uncomfortable and the stools on the balcony in junior suite unusable to them being so uncomfortable. Would advise the owner to invest in some nice relaxing sunbeds to make this into a very nice comfortable hotel. There are no TV channels only netflix.
Staff very friendly from reception staff to Chef, cleaners and manager Lilly. Always happy to advice and sell excursions. Hotel spotless, grounds immaculate bed comfy, room good size. Breakfast good, usual Asian food and omelette cooked fresh. The location is quiet. This was good for us as we wanted some chill out time by a pool as well as sightseeing. Taxi ride less than $1 each way via grab into the old town. Hotel had a shuttle but we didn't use as restricted on timings.

United KingdomThe shower always drenched the bathroom floor no matter how carefully it was used. The raised metal stools on the balcony were uncomfortable. Comfortable seats would have been much better.
Location was exceptionally lovely. The pool and garden area were beautiful and the breakfast buffet was very good. The bikes were great!

Hong KongShowers have a design fault which made the bathroom really wet, but hotel provided extra towels at request to assist with this.
Our stay at Moodhoian was exactly what we needed as a young family of 4 travelling with my parents. It met needs from young to old. Would highly recommend for families, it’s out of the busy hoi an old town, without being too far away. Lots of space for kids to run around and for parents to relax and enjoy. Recommend!!

I loved everything! The people and location. I loved how friendly everyone was and how kind and helpful they were. Will definitely be back here. Even down to the acoustic music playing all day I don’t think it’s possible to come here and not be instantly relaxed. Thank you to all the staff that made my experience so wonderful!!

AustraliaSunny has a very organization skill from the first arrival to departure date. She took care of your feelings about the stay. She arranged massages, lunch right after the massages, arranged shuttle bus to Hoian ancient city and pick up so that I could maximize my tour interest although I only stayed one night there. Sunny could even rearrange the Ba Na Hills stay moving to another date because of the bad weather with good negotiation and communication skill with the hotel. She is a good treasurer as well, Sunny found out I double paid the transport. She honestly informed me and organised the refund. It is very impressed me. Lily was the second person who got the good comments. She fed and serviced us good at the restaurant.

Sadly we did not like the massage , they did not understand English and I ended up having a headache after the massge , however the receptionist approached us and mentioned they are gonna give us some discount from the massage bill which was nice of them, but I didn’t expect them to do it.
I loved the pool, and staffs they are really friendly and nice. Plus it was very relaxing 4 days .

The team (reception, cleaners, kitchen team & gardners) led by Andy who was the guest relations manager could not have been more helpful, friendly (were always smiling) and professional. The resort was exactly what we were looking for, outside of Hoian but only a 6 minute drive by Grab or taxi to the centre of old town. Breakfast was good catering to both western and Asian tastes and a great chef who made the perfect omelettes. The pool was huge and very easy to access. We did not want to leave and will definitely return.
