1. The staff (especially lee from the tour table) was caring and willing to help with anything. 2. The hostel is at the old quarter and close to most attractions, restaurants, and shops (yet quite at night). 3. There's an open hour at the evenings where you can have a beer and meet other travelers.

Great hostel, social without being a party place. Central location, quiet, clean and comfortable. All the staff were excellent, the cooking tour with Billy and Ling was so much fun. Nancy at reception is exceptional. Professional, friendly and welcoming!

The stairs to the upper bed were pretty noisy and it made me conscious when I had to walk up and down. The bunk room door as well is heavy and loud

I am quite a clean freak and I can’t stand dirty toilets and hair. The shared bathroom’s drainage does not clog up hair. Toilets and wash up area were very clean as well. Bed is spacious and has a locker. Has a bar that operates till late at night so you can have a drink or two. Breakfast charged at reasonable price and there’s happy hour everyday for free beers. Staffs were friendly and smiley too.

Great hostel in the perfect location to explore old quarter by foot. The staff is very friendly and helpful with arranging luggage storage and anything else you need during your time in Hanoi. Half hour of free beer helps initiate the socializing vibe of the hostel. Would recommend.

One of the best guesthouses I've stayed in this year. The staff are fluent in English and very kind. Clean bed, hot shower, laundry services, luggage keeping service even after checking out, happy hour with free cups of bia, and located in the Old Quarter. I'd recommend this guesthouse if you're traveling alone in Hanoi or with your friends.

During my first night, I think there was water interruption, and we got it back by around 7am. I did report it to the reception desk. The staff checked the line later on the day.

The staff is very helpful, especially in helping me get a car to the airport since my checkout is early. It has a little balcony where I would sit if I don't want to be on my bunker bed. It is right in the heart of the Old Quarter where it comes alive at night, but tucked away enough to not be reached by the noise outside. You can find everything around it. There is a free tour around Old Quarter, and they help make arrangements for tours.

Best choice in Honai. Every 9am provides 2.5hr free walking tour to introduce the most attractive part of old city area. You can reserve tours from here, such as popular Ha Long Bay, Ning Pin, Sapa or book bus/train ticket. The hostel gave very useful advice, even checked weather forecast for me to do the best arrangement to avoid unpleasant muddy trekking trip. Hostel location is perfect, in the center of old city, easy to take relaxing walking and explore interesting spots. In a quiet alley, won’t be disturbed by the noisy street.

I couldn’t understand the shower a bit. Sometimes the water got too hot and took awhile to cool down

Property has a common area which is good for solo travelers if they want to socialize. Place is not hard to find and there are lots of places to check out nearby. There are lots of places to eat within a walking distance. It is near the beer area where you can visit if you want but far enough that it’s not loud at night. The staff was helpful when i lost something in my room as well

Nothing to complain except I had an early morning flight and unfortunately taps were dry. P/S the hostel is slightly hidden from.the mainstreet. You will see the Buffalo Hostel and Mixue Icecream shop.Go in along the alley for about 30m and you will see this hostel.

1. Locatied just adjacent to the Beer Street but far enough not to hear the noise. 2. Not a party hostel, by 11.30pm is quiet zone. 3. It has an elavator so those staying in 4-6 bedroom dorms don't have to use tge stairs. 4. The hpusekeeping crew clean the toilets in each dorm frequently during the day time. Tge aircond unit in our dorm was also cleaned once during my 4night stay. 5. Sturdy beds, big storage, privacy curtains and personal light/power socket for each bed. For upper beds they don't use ladders but staircase which reduce shaking the bed 6. For the 4/6 bedroom dorm has a shower cubicle.and toilet for each dorm.

Nothing,Nada and not even single complain! Love the Hostel!

Everything in Old Quarter Hostel are amazing. From the staff - shout out to Nancy!-, facilities, amenities, cleanliness are top notch for me! All of them are accomodating and super helpful. Lee,on duty staff help me to book the taxi to go to airport this morning..👏🏻👏🏻 Highly recommended from me as everything are nearby from the shops,bars, tourist attractions etc. They have free walking tour with Billy as the tour guide, he's the best! If you're planning to have tour out of Hanoi,just talk to Nancy she's just one step away to help you with everything! Good luck and more success to you guys!
