Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BelgiumI don’t have anything to complain.
The room is spacious with complimentary water. The included breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of food, especially the local one. The fruit was fresh and really yummy. It is located close to Đại Giác Pagoda and Tam Toà Church.

United StatesVery particular about returning room keys. Penalty fee was applied if not returned during check out. The water in the shower took forever to drain. Breakfast ended too early.

South Koreathe breakfast buffet was more oriented towards Vietnamese which in and on itself wasn’t a bad thing. As someone who cannot read or understand Vietnamese it was hard to see what was there, which made it a not so pleasant experience.
the staff were very nice, we were able to leave our bags at the lobby after check out during a day trip. it looks very fancy and the spa and pool were cool.

South KoreaLocation is too far away from the downtown and there are restaurants mostly for drinking. The room was not thoroughly clean because we found some cigarettes at the balcony, the glassware was not clean, left with some kind of coffee residues!! That’s like missing basics… The staff were nice but like most regions in Vietnam, they dont speak good English. So sometimes it was hard for us to communicate with them. The breakfast place looks nice and has a variety of selection but actually there are not many things that you would like to eat. The quality of the food itself should be improved. The last thing the cave tour was available in two versions but because the staff did not tell us anything about the adventure tour, which we wanted to do, we thought the plain tour was the adventure tour but it was not so..to be honest our time at Dong Hoi was not so satisfactory.
The hotel room was nice and very spacious. You can also book the cave tour through the hotel.

VietnamNot much, but we hope that the housekeepers could tidy the hotel rooms in a cleaner way during the time we stayed here.
Rex Quang Binh Hotel is super close to Dong Hoi centre and Nhat Le beach. We rent motorbikes and explore the whole city very conveniently. In addition, the rooms are nice designed & decorated. The facilities are new. The beds are comfortable.

CanadaI only stayed one night so I did not explore the area, but it didn’t seem like there was a lot to do nearby, and all the main tourist attractions/restaurants seemed far away.
The hotel is very nice and clean, with friendly and helpful staff who upgraded me to a junior suite free of charge. The breakfast buffet was tasty, room service was easy to order and arrived quickly, and the bed was very comfortable. The spa and massage were decent, nothing exceptional. The location is close to the train station, about a 20-min walk or 10-min scooter.

Germanyreally nothing to complain
Very new and nice hotel, good breakfast and nice Spa area. Everything was outstanding and way above standard compared to other hotels in the same price category in Vietnam. In Vietnam the personal in hotels is always helpful and nice but in this hotel it was even a little bit better. Thank you for the incredible stay.

The hotel staff could not have been more polite and helpful. It was truly a wonderful place, and given the inexpensive cost you could not do better!!! would definitely recommend it!!’

AustraliaLocation is out of the way to shops. Looks like development was happening but stopped. Be careful walking on slippery tiles when wet around hotel. It is very sad to see the pollution affecting the nearby river at this location, of course this is not the hotels fault.
Relaxing atmosphere, large rooms, nice hot shower. People in Hong Doi were very friendly. Not touristy at all which I liked.

United KingdomYou need a cab to get to the train station or the city centre as it's a bit far from both.
Way better than other Vietnamese hotels in this price range. Very clean, recently furnished room, proper 4* standard for a 3* price. There are a few eating options around, despite being pretty far from the city centre.
