Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaBed hard and uncomfortable, not much sleep that night. Verbal description of intended itineraries given on boat were very hard to hear and understand. Language barrier with staff - we speak English. Overcrowded with boats and rude pushy tourists onshore.
Friendly, helpful staff/crew. Meals were plentiful.

SpainThe excursions are way too busy, line up to visit the cave was ridiculous, real mass tourism. We skipped the excursion to the other cave the next day it's just too busy everywhere. That's the same for all boats and cruises they are all on the same location, so not to do with this company
We were changed from Ruby cruise to Lily cruise and the boat is very beautiful, rooms amazing and the food is realy good. Definitely recommended

IrelandCleaning of the rooms could be improved , specially state of the bed sheets. We had confirmed to be on the free shuttle bus from Hanoi, but had mistakenly been put on a premium bus that morning, to which it was too late to rectify when noticed. Later the operator for the cruise tried to make me pay for this different bus despite it being entirely her fault. Then she tried bartering for me to pay 50%. Thankfully, our guide for the cruise Kim recognised that the error was not on our part and we didn’t have to pay the difference. Drinks in the boat are really expensive as it is (which we were ok with), however, when we went to check they charge an extra 10% just because we are on a boat. Another passenger on the cruise noticed that it was not mentioned anywhere previously, not even on the menu. Eventually our table didn’t pay for the 10%.
Nice views Kim was very nice!

BrazilHorrible experience at Ruby Cruise 1) The room is too small without any balcony and, when you open the door, you are almost out of the boat. 2) No hot water for shower. I couldn’t take a shower before going sleep and had a freezing shower before check out. 3) Meals are poor, small amount and average quality. I KEPT HUNGRY THE WHOLE DAY. They were not Vietnamese at all and you need to share with other guests what comes on the table. This is so inconvenient because people must be polite to not eat other people’s portion and we also must keep giving plates for others guests all the time. When you see, there is an elbow when your face. 4) Staff couldn’t speak English at all. When I asked about the Wi-Fi, it was a nightmare. 5) Tour guide also had poor English (better than the others in the crew) and it’s somehow useless. She just gave us few information in the morning cave and done. 6) No Internet Connection in the boat. If you are lucky, you can connect with the world in the restaurant. 7) Rooftop was ridiculous with old and broken furniture, not compared with other cruises. 8) Cooking Class (not sure if I can call what I had of Cooking Class) was ridiculous. Making fresh spring rolls was only fill some stuff (eggs, noodle, veggies) in a race paper and done! WHAT? I can do that (I am doing actually) in all kind of Vietnamese restaurant since I arrived. Other friends went to cruises in which you really cook (use fire) and bake (make a dough) and much more fun for sure. 9) Restaurant: you barely can see the bay while eating because the walls are framed by wood. So you do can see the bay but covered by the wall. 10) Beverages: The coffee in the breakfast was not coffee. It was just dirty water. In addition, you must pay for all your beverages. They don’t provide EVEN water, juice or coffee for the guests. Only tea in a particular time (happy hour) I will end here. Tired of writing.
What I liked was the Bay itself and the caves.
