Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Breakfast was good but a bit small for western types.
Everything was well above average for a hostel. Check in was smooth and easy, my room was comfortable with good a/c. WiFi was fine. Breakfast was a good choice between local and international options, made fresh in front of you. The gym was a real treat. Just having access to some exercise equipment on the premises was really appreciated.

Maybe allowing early check-in for weary travelers who are waiting at the facility before the original check-in time. Also have other food walking tours for guests and provide complimentary beer or a drink during happy hour timeframes.
Facility was super clean and receptionist is very attentive and welcoming when you arrive. The rooms are spacious and they provide a lock for the room lockers just in case you don't have one. The breakfast was excellent and vegan/vegetarian friendly for those with dietary needs. They offer tours that you can book through the front desk. It's a family-owned business so the staff are very open and honest about receiving feedback, recommendations and concerns. Gym being on the bottom floor allows you to get a workout in and not feel that you are disturbing anyone and they have a water dispenser on the premises to refill your water bottles.

As a solo female, it's a really nice place to chill. The neighbour is safe and quiet. This hostel is rising for a brother's and they're amazing. They called you by your name and tried to make your stay as much better as they could. I highly recommend this place

The area is outside the tourist district, which is no fault of the hostel. I liked staying out where the locals are but it’s just something to note.
Loved the rooftop bar, the rooms were comfy and the breakfast was good!

We thought the location was more central than it turned out to be. Shampoo didn’t smell the best.
Staff were helpful & friendly. Cosy comfortable room. Adequate breakfast. They were able to accommodate leaving our luggage there for the day.

The location was in a local area, a 20 minute walk into the centre and to main attractions.
We stayed in a private double room which was spacious and had a comfortable bed. Staff were all so friendly and helpful! Gym was an added bonus :)

sometime hot shower need to request reception to open it because they using the pump make hot water it and WiFi internet have slow a bit sometime but still good for me to stay here and hope can improve it more better my suggestion

sometime you need call ride grab taxi or motorbike is not easy especially rain day seasons
i love this place because is clean and comfy and the lady staff was super friendly and helpful to guide and the bed was good to sleep perfectly and free breakfast is awesome from 7am till 9am you can get it affordable price to stay here always and i will choose to come back here to stay this place soon

They provide excellent customer service. They assisted me in alnost everything. The family runs the hostel and it gives out a family vibe while youre away from home The place is spanking clean ,fresh smelling and spacious rooms too. We had a good time!

Everyone who works at this hostel is very kind and helpful, even helped me fixing my problem with my Esim card. Delicious breakfast in the morning. Bed was comfy and room super clean. Good value for money.

It was so nice to be out of the weird vibe of district 1, this place felt much more like real Vietnam, and still so close to the center. The hostel has different areas where you can chill (sofas in the entrance, fitness room, little rooftop etc.), which I love to have when I'm in a dorm. And the sheets were veeery very soft, slept like a baby. All in all, you can stop looking, you've found a great place to stay in Hô-Chi-Minh-city.

The room wasn’t sound proofed as advertised, and the shower wasn’t as hot as I would I have liked.
Breakfasts were great, and they did earlier breakfasts for us when we had early starts for tours. The staff were lovely, helpful and easy to chat to. The Wi-Fi was excellent, and the common room was cozy

It is far away from all touristic things. Walking 30 minutes and motorbike grab 10 minutes.

Probably no hairdryer? But I didn’t ask the staff
The staff were so friendly and helpful. I couldn’t join but they offer us some events like walking tour, cooking experiences. There are some spaces you can chill outside of room. I stayed other places in Saigon but here was the best in terms of price, cleanliness and friendliness.
