We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, always going the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. A special shoutout to Ms Ngan Kieu, Mr Linh Nguyen & Mr Trong Nguyen for their outstanding service—it truly made our experience memorable. The hotel's prime location is another big plus, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for top-notch service and a convenient location.

Nothing really. Perhaps, the fact that I didn't get an upgrade to a room facing the lake ? That would be a real treat, but it's understandable that these rooms cost more as land here being next to the Hoan Kiem Lake must cost a premium.

In my nearly 15 years of travel in Hanoi, I have not come across such a helpful team in places I stayed! Everyone was friendly and confident, and I must holler a shout for Ms Kieu who didn't hesitate to go out of her way to help. Others, including Mr Viet are to be commended. And, of course, the location, being right between the Old Quarter and French Quarter. We enjoyed walking around the Hoan Kiem Lake in the early morning and late evening when it was cooler, walked the ten minutes to streets in French Quarter for meals and admired the architecture of the buildings, and took a Grab car (only VND 30-40,000) a few times to Old Quarter, to the railway street and enjoy street food, although walking would take about 15 to 20 minutes depending on which part of the Old Quarter we wanted to go to. Just five minutes away, of course, were the street food shops selling Ba Trieu and Quang Trung, selling: che, banh mi, banh cuon, bun rieu, etc, for 50,000 or much less.

The fact that one needs to pay a lot more for time with lake views - but I imagine land is at a premium here!

The staff we met, including Mr Viet, Ms Thuy, Ms Trang, were very helpful and we were made very welcome. The location, being just next to Hoan Kiem Lake and the French Quarter, and ten minutes walk to the Old Quarter, was perfect. Outside the Old Quarter, the likelihood of a road closure was extremely slim.

I had some questions concerning check in time. My questions was only answered after the third request . Breakfast should be included.

The spacious room with balcony was very well equipped and had a nice view. Everything was very clean and the staff was professional. The bed was comfortable with good blanket and pillows.

Absolutely everything! Our favourite part? The staff at Silk Path Boutique Hanoi. All the staff we met went above and beyond to help and look after us. They are such beautiful caring people. You instantly feel welcome and they made our stay in Hanoi so comfortable and enjoyable. To top it off - the location is also perfect! Any time we return to Hanoi... we will definitely be staying again at Silk Path Boutique Hanoi.

The Stay & the staff were amazing. We reached a little early & they helped getting our stay ready for us as early & possible. Probably one of my favorite stays, most accomodating, helpful, and charming staff I've ever encountered. Location was good, on the lake surrounded by walking streets on the weekend; can reach most attractions or needs within 5-20 minutes. Room was great, comfortable, breakfast in the room was tasty.

One pillow was comfortable but the 2nd was a hard foam block, so we just used 1 which was fine. Didn’t try breakfast as it seemed expensive by local standards (we were told 15USD) but lots of great bakeries & coffee shops on the same street or nearby. Our favourite was Hanoi Coffee Station in the old quarter about 15 minutes walk away.

Comfortable & clean, lots of space in the room with additional seating area, small balcony & desk. Favourite thing was the location between the French & the Old Quarter - it is a brisk 10 minute walk around the small & scenic lake to the old quarter but it’s a much more peaceful to stay in this location than in the hustle and bustle of the old quarter itself which we were glad for.
