A slightly deceiving room from the pictures as it’s quite small, but we both enjoyed our stay here. The location is perfectly placed in the old quarter so very close to a lot of great things to do in Hanoi. Comfy beds, reasonable wi-fi and a working tv. Expect some noise as it’s above a restaurant but we have no complaints.

You have to walk through a restaurant/alley to access the rooms. Every ceiling is low so watch your head if taller. Shower is very small and no heat

It’s located up some steep stairs behind a restaurant - not really a problem, just something to note.

It was really comfortable, spacious and in a good location. The host was really helpful - particularly when we arrived late in the night, he came to welcome us to our room.

Nice room, but it's above the restaurant, so a little smell can come to your room. The bed is comfortable. The shower is typical, without curtain. Nice overall.

The standard room is quite small for two people, and the sofa makes it feel even more cramped. • Room service was not provided during our stay—perhaps guests need to WhatsApp the owner to request it. Overall, it’s a good budget-friendly option in a convenient location, but a bit more space and better housekeeping service would improve the experience.

The door to the balcony didn’t seal properly so the sound from the street could be heard but otherwise no complaints!

The room was very clean and comfortable. The entrance is through the restaurant, and I would have been confused if I was at the right place. However, the host was always there and quickly greeted me. Once I saw the room, everything was fine. The street is quite noisy at night, but I accepted that as the vibrant life in the old quarter. The bed was very firm, which is perfect for me but comes down to personal preference.

The contact from the owner was exceptional and helpful via what's app. Organising taxis to and from the airport.

The noise from the street is really loud in the room and can make it sometimes hard to sleep.

The apartment is in an awesome spot in old quarter, very close to a lot of tourist attractions and great food. Value for money was awesome, the staff while they don’t speak english are friendly and willing to help out. I would definitely recommend for a short stay.

The rooms are in a restaurant which is slightly odd and not shown on the pictures, so there is no reception area. The bathroom was extremely small so it was difficult to shower and the beds were quite hard. The noise from the street and the restaurant was loud so ok if you can sleep through this.

The location was perfect, walking distance from most things - the room was nice and the guy who checked us in was friendly. Hotel helped us arrange a taxi to pick us up from the airport which was great.

Our room didn’t have a window as we knew but what we didn’t know was that the AC works only on a fan mode so there’s literally NO air whatsoever. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything, even the alarm of a neighbor that rings for 40 minutes at 7am. There’s no reception, no English, no information, you can’t pay with card. The bathroom doesn’t have any sort of ventilation. It’s really hard to find it on the street as well, you have to walk through a restaurant or a weird path that no one showed us. WiFi doesn’t work properly.

The location is great and the water was always hot.

The mattress was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. Despite being windowless, the room was the noisiest I have every stayed in be aware that the fan from the kitchen will play intermittently throughout the night. I found it nearly impossible to sleep. Security os also not great - the same code is used for all of the doors instead of just having keys.

The property is well-located and is good value for money. It is inside a good restaurant also if you are feeling peckish.

The room wasn't still finished and the bathroom is outside of the room in the balcony. The window door has a problem to close.

The photos shown on booking are not of the actual apartment. To be fair the owner did message us with actual photos of the property, but the photos on booking have still not been updated over a week later. I hope this gets resolved quickly. The room is a lot smaller than shown on the photos, especially the bathroom. What confused us on arrival was that the homestay is inside/above a restaurant. So you go through the restaurant to access your room. The mattress was extremely hard and the room was on the second floor of a very busy street with no (or minimal) sound proofing, so we slept badly.

The homestay is in a central location, on toy street. The room and the furniture were very new and so in good condition.
