Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CyprusVery comfortable and clean rooms with many amenities and relatively quiet area in contrast with the surroundings. Helpful staff. We booked with the option for breakfast, but then we realised that this was a set japanese menu, which was not our preferable option for morning (a bit heavy!), therefore we didn't try it.

United KingdomStaff weren't particularly friendly or helpful. Roof top bar was a plus but again staff unfriendly and very overpriced even for uk standards.
Very clean and comfortable. Excellent location. Quiet at night if you are a light sleeper like me!

CanadaI forgot to go to the rooftop bar... only thing I didn't like!
I loved the room! Faced the street, which is shockingly quiet, a few blocks in from the main road! Loved the theme and the bath. Bed was very comfortable. Location is very convenient. Close to convenience stores, coffee shops, banh mi, most of the tourist attractions were within a short walking distance. Staff were very attentive and helped with anything I needed. Adjusting the AC, coffee shop tips, accepting grab food deliveries. I'm glad I came across this hotel, and I will stay again.

SingaporeStaff were inattentive. Walked into the rooftop bar twice (door does make a sound when slided) and the staff on duty just continued being on the phone. Breakfast staff got my order wrong. And i think the aircon duct/vent is very dusty as I kept sneezing in the room.
Comfortable and quiet room, wifi works well, love the bathtub and toiletries.

MalaysiaIt was expected that it would be slightly noisy from the construction nearby. There was a pub making noise too. I can hear my neighbour's TV which the hotel called them to lower their volume which was fine.
Location was good, easy to walk to most of the restaurants and cafes in the area. Room was new and beautiful. The design and comfort of the place was tastefully done with a lot of the torii gate motif. Staff was attentive as well.

GreeceWe would have loved a wider variety at breakfast beyond the set Japanese-style menu. However, we appreciated how convenient it was on days when we had only a few minutes before heading out early.
We really appreciated the sophisticated use of space in the room, as well as the stylish design throughout. The bathroom had a unique, ambient feel that added to the experience. The location was both convenient and quiet, and the staff was kind and welcoming. Overall, a thoughtfully designed stay that we truly enjoyed.

First time in Ho Chi Minh. Dubbed Mother-Daughter bonding trip 23-26 Feb 2025. Found Suzu Saigon Hotel on Booking.com. Arrived around 12pm. We managed to find Temple Leaf Spa located 450m or 4 min walk from the hotel to pass the time till our 2pm check-in. As we were walking to the spa the hotel area looks to be Little Japan. So many Japanese restaurants and peachy pleased to find out that the hotel is quite centrally located. Suzu is a pretty new hotel (7 mths old) with a Japanese theme. We booked the room with breakfast. You can choose 5 types of Japanese breakfast comprising udon, grill mackerel, chicken, etc in a bento set. Yums❤️ For vegetarian and vegans alike across the hotel you’ll find Lim Veggie Bistro. Good wholesome and original Vietnamese taste. Further down there’s Every Hour instagramable 70’s cafe filled with locals. The hot matcha latte is to die for! Rooms are decent size - not too big not too small. Toilet has the Japanese bidet which I like. Flush and water pressure super great. Love love the marshal speakers that come with the room! Hands down will choose Suzu Saigon Hotel over brands like Sheraton, Le Meridian, etc. Heads-up! Remember to pay in advance your booking. The hotel will send you a link in your message box 2-3 days before arrival. Realised some guests were caught unaware and lost their booking. Imagine arriving and tired from your flight only to be told that you do not have a room. Pasti mengamuk🙄 Booking.com please alert guests that it’s NOT pay at premise.

United KingdomBreakfast closed at 9am, which was a little earlier than we would have liked.
The room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the decor and minimalist style. The staff at reception were very helpful, organising a day trip for us and looking after our luggage until our departure. Breakfast was very tasty and in Japanese style, meaning that there weren’t continental European options. We very much enjoyed our stay!

GermanyThe shower was sprinkling a lot outside of the bathtub but that is rather an issue for the cleaning team than ourself
The bed. In all of our six month South east Asia Journey this was one of the most comfortable beds and blankets. The overall room design added to a very cozy feeling. The bathroom was nice as well. We loved the strong shower and the option for a bath, too. The room size was very good and there was plenty of space for the two of us. Location was nice and close to many good restaurants.

SingaporeThe hotel should provide a disclaimer that payment will be prepaid two days prior to checking in, to prevent any miscommunication or misunderstanding as I noticed some reviews talking about this issue.
I loved the breakfast meals provided, they were authentic Japanese cuisine meals and were super delicious. The room was super cosy, spacious and clean. The toilet was really clean as well and I truly appreciate the ease of use for the shower head and bath tub. The amenities provided were plentiful as well; the body soap, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush set and other toiletries were all of good quality and of sufficient supply. The room was super neat and clean, and there was even a Marshall speaker provided for use during my stay. The location of the hotel is really good, in the heart of Ho Chi Minh city and close to many shopping and food places. The staff were all super approachable, friendly and helpful and always attended to my questions and requests promptly.

Lovely hotel in such a great area. We were only here overnight, but wished we had stayed longer! The rooms were contemporary and tasteful, and facilities were amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is delicious and unique! The hotel is located on the same street as some great places to eat, and a short walk to nearby shopping etc. We will definitely be back!
