Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe pool sitting area is a bit cramped.
The location was perfect - loved the view across the rice paddies - great to ride along the very quiet road to DenVoi, Buffalo Cave and Bird Valley. The staff were superb - super keen for you to be happy.

EstoniaFew more bicycles would be good to have. Nothing else!
Homestay with very nice and helpful family running it. We got all help and beyond from them. The room was simple with all basics. The breakfast with view to the "windy" fields was lovely and the food great. Free bicycles were useful as there is a bit walking to reach the centre by foot. Away from centre gave an opportunity for super views! For any issue we had (not related with accomodation) we were given help to solve those.

SwitzerlandWe stayed at Windy Fields just for 1 nights but we wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms are very cozy, spacious, and have nice views. The staff was so helpful, welcoming, and polite, we felt understood and well taken care of. They booked for us everything we needed during our stay, transportation to and from places and a tour at the national park. They also arranged our laundry according to our wishes.

IrelandThe location is lovely - out in the middle of the rice fields but also walking distance to the town, or even better take one of the bikes for free. The bikes were really handy and we visited everything we wanted to see by cycling from Windy Fields. Our room was nice and comfortable. The family here couldn't have been nicer and provided a space for us to leave our luggage before taking the night train at 11pm. Breakfast was made to order for you in the morning which was great! The pool and lounging area was lovely every evening.

United KingdomNothing.
This was one of the best experiences during our travels in Vietnam. The home stay is located around a 5 minute cycle from the Tam Coc centre which makes for amazing views and a very sleepy feel to the area. The staff were super friendly and gave us a free upgrade on arrival to a bigger room as we arrived a little early. The facilities were amazing, especially the free bikes which made exploring the local area very easy. The pool was a nice addition to cool off after a long day and sun bed areas very comfortable to relax in. The food available was also very tasty and was a good choice if you didn’t want to travel into the touristy town centre. Wish we could have stayed for longer!

New ZealandCan't say anything negative.
The swimming pool was a big highlight for us. We enjoyed looking out on the rice fields while taking a dip in the pool. The original room that we booked had a problem, so we were upgraded to a bigger room with our own balcony looking out on the fields. Our first day was an early start and breakfast wasn't quite ready for us at the given time, but the staff were kind enough to pack a container of fruit for us with water to take on our adventure for the day. They are all friendly and kind, and gave us great tips to explore the surrounding area.

JapanIn first day, the breakfast is great, all in sandwich or huge pancakes. But if you stay longer, it is kinda fast food, I would have liked some vegetables, especially that in that area there is abundance of them.
Easy going and warm ladies hosts, they will give many tips and arrange tours and transfers if you want. They have a room which you can use if you are an early check-in or late check-out, which is very nice of their side (even had some water and snacks for night train). The pool and the view are great. Close to city by 5 min bike (which they give for free) and close to Buffalo Cave and other biking roads (the road to Bird Valley is sooo beautiful).
