So peaceful there. We were only Meant to stay one night but extended it for another two days and we were sad to leave! It’s a hidden gem and the people who own it and work there made our stay very special! They were very attentive and kind. Thank you Vivian, Amy and hoa The food was great we had breakfast and dinner there and food was amazing

Not really although I discovered the shower floor was very slippery - my fault should have worn the sandals provided.

Really lovely staff. I wish I could remember more names but Amy and Vivienne were wonderful. Beautiful views and incredibly peaceful yet near shops and places to eat.

Breakfast and rooms are a bit basic for the price, but seems on par with the area. Location is a bit far from the lively bits and if you don't have a motorbike it's a trek to get there. The motorbikes to rent are also not greatly maintained, but also seems on par with the area,

The staff was super accommodating and we arranged a lot of services with them (laundry, motorbike, transport...) - it's great way of enjoying Ninh Binh.

Great location, quiet, just out of town, friendly helpful staff, free bikes, close to other local attractions. Organised a local guide and tour that was fantastic.

There is nothing I didn't like. It is maybe a little further away from the town, but this meant we had the amazing view, and were in a more local/authentic area than the main street which is only 5min away by cycling.

I really loved the view and the beautiful layout around the pool, the swings, the pool table. I also really liked our room with the views on the rice fields from all windows. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff was also super friendly and helpful. Really amazing place!

We had a great stay - very friendly, clean and spacious room, and an amazing big breakfast! They even gave us a new years gift as we stayed over New Year’s Eve. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely minuscule thing but the air con in my room was a little bit fierce if you slept on the side of the bed nearest to it…I’m sure this could be easily resolved

Yes it’s more expensive than most other homestays/guesthouses you’ll find nearby, but I splurged as a bit of a treat midway through a 2-month backpacking trip, and found it heavenly. Very comfortable rooms, nice bathrooms, and lovely pool area with a view over the rice fields. Fabulous at sunset. Above all, the staff were super fun, friendly and kind (and offered delicious food for breakfast lunch and dinner). Shared tables in the restaurant made it easy to make friends with other guests :) They were constantly offering us free fresh fruit, prawn crackers and other goodies, as a way of avoiding food waste, which I loved

We stayed here in mid December 2023. What a lovely stay it was!. Tam coc town in itself has very good vibes with the backdrop of the Ninh Binh mountains and rice fields around.  Wish we had planned a longer stay here. The owners are very helpful and made sure we had a pleasant stay. They have bicycles that are free to use and Tam Coc is a perfect place to explore on bicycles.  Rooms are nice and cozy and the restaurant food is lovely. Our host, Amy was super friendly and arranged our tours to see nearby places. If you are in Ninh Binh, make sure you stay here.

Beautiful location, nice spacious rooms. Staff were exceptionally helpful and very knowledgable. The breakfast included was amazing, you could order what you wanted from a menu rather than a buffet. The free bikes allow you to roam easily.

This was by far our favourite stay in Vietnam. We loved everything! The location is so perfect, you can rent bicycles to cycle to the nearby attractions. The property is absolutely breathtaking! Most of all the staff were amazing, kind and couldn’t do enough for us which we so appreciate. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff there (Jenny, Vivienne & Amie etc.!). We never stay anywhere twice but would stay here again and again. Thank you!!

We stayed at Windy Fields for 3 days in december. The staff is really nice and helpfull! You can get any advice from them, they help you plan your itinerary when in Ninh Binh. There is a nice pool, and beautiful views of the Rice fields (although it is not very green in december). It is a 15min walk to Tam Coc centre, where the restaurants and bars are, but the hotel restaurant is also open all day and serves excellent food. Bicycles are included, so we biked everywhere.

Arriving at the location I was stunned by the breathtaking view. The staff was incredibly friendly and helped out with everything. Due to the free bicycles and the great placement the sights and activities can be reached without problems. If you want you can also rent a motorbike. If you go to Tam Coc I would highly recommend staying here.

Rooms could use a little bit of updating and better lighting.

Pretty view, with a great location. Close enough to reach the downtown and restaurants easily, but just isolated enough to feel like you're away from it all. Free bikes to get around. The pool and grounds are lovely, included breakfast was really delicious and offered pretty good variety. The staff were very friendly and very helpful, offering useful advice, like recommending a night visit to the walking area and pagoda in Ninh Binh. Owner gave us a free ride once, as it wasn't always the easiest to summon a grab. The rooms and bathrooms are very simple and perhaps a bit dated, so don't expect luxury, but things were quite clean.

Nothing we didn’t like but we were unlucky that on our last day we had planned to stay by the pool and chill, but that was the day the pool was being cleaned and refilled. Our bad luck.

The location and spectacular views were great, as was the standard of accommodation. Very comfortable with attentive staff.

The bathroom is okay - but you can’t really ask for more given the hotel is surrounded by nature and the price you pay.

If you want to be near Ninh Binh, close to restaurants but still with a view - this is the right place for you. Amazing value for money and VERY attentive staff. We felt welcome from the first second we entered the hotel. We had such a great sleep as the hotel is located in a quiet location where you can listen to the nature. All of this paired with a beautiful view and a refreshing and clean pool. We wish we could have stayed longer!
