Area wasn’t great, had to get grabs everywhere, but saying that Da Nang is a big city, could be the case everywhere? There isn’t a rule about taking your shoes off, so a lot of people bought their smelly shoes into the dorm making it smell. Our room was really small & tight to get to. Our room is pictured as the small one but it was a lot smaller in reality.

The property was clean & the staff were so so nice! Love that they make the beds daily and give you fresh towels. Toilets are really nice and modern. Love the spa services also which I used twice. Handy that there was a lift/elevator.

I really love the stay at The Backpacker Hostel and Spa. Great rooftop. Free bike. Comfortable bed. Nice staff Tai, Kieu, Tu, Cuong are exceptionally helpful and friendly. I can definitely recommend the hostel and will stay here again for my next trip! Thank you!!

The shower was more of a trickle than anything but was sufficient enough for the two nights we stayed. One morning there were also cockroaches in the lift

The lady on reception was amazing- Tai I think her name was! She was so smiley and really made our experience. She recommended trips in the area and even gave advice on places to go in our next location. She recommended the spa next door, which I would highly recommend with cheap prices too :) the room was spacious and clean too

The location for anything other than the beach wasn’t the best but you can easily get taxis so no major issue

The location is good for the beach but if you need to head to the dragon bridge or the other side of the river then you will need a taxi or a bike. The hostel is very clean and the breakfast options were fine especially considering the price. The bed was comfortable and the room was plenty big

Great place to stay, the beds are large ans super comfy, I booked a bed in the female dorm and was the only one staying so I had the room for myself. The lady at the reception recommanded me places to eat. Also the next morning, as the storm was raging really badly, I was given plastic bags for my backpack, shoes and other stuff so it wouldn't get wet on my way to Hoi an on the bike. Thank you !

Both nights I was there it was the same outing to see the dragon bridge which I didn’t want to do twice. So more variety of social events would be better. Location wasn’t great to just walk around the hostel however it’s super easy to get a grab to somewhere else. Also the pool is a lot smaller than in this photos lol

I loved this hostel. It was the first one of my solo trip to vietnam and it started off on such a high. The rooms are very spacious and I love that there was chairs/desks in the room too. They had events on both nights I stayed which made it easy to socialise with other travellers.

I am happy that I decided to stay at this hostel because I liked absolutely everything. The decor here looks like a luxury hotel, everything is new, works great, big bed, delicious breakfast, clean and cozy. Every day I woke up and fell asleep with a smile, because the staff made every effort to make it so. In Russia, people say: "It's not the place that gives value to a person, but the person that gives value to the place." These words describe this hostel perfectly, because thanks to the staff, my experience was not just good, but great thanks to Tài, Kiều and Louis - this is the best team, thank you guys for everything

Location was bad and the pool was really small.

The rooms were spacious and clean. Because location was not great you can get bicycle for free so that was really convenient.

The receptioniat Tai was lovely. The foreign staff are all really accomodating, friendly and fun too! A good hostel for chilling and/or partying. The location is 10 minutes walk to the beach, but bit far from the walking street/main bar area, but they apologise forthis and give free taxi's and bicycles, so really can't complain.

The dorm beds are far bigger and with greater privacy with curtains. I'm 6 foot 3 and this is one of the few hostel beds that were genuinely roomy like home. God-level air conditioning in dorms too for sleeping. Helpful local staff and good Huda beer on tap too!

The hostel was really clean and stylish, cleaners came to change beds daily and do a general clean up. Bathrooms were spotless. There's a rooftop pool and bar area where you can eat/drink and socialise. You can avail of free bikes outside the entrance to cycle around the area and a spa next door.
