Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaMid day there is not much shade in the pool
Across sand dunes from beach. The restaurant bar on the top floor has a nice view of the beach and catches the wind off the water. The rooms are cross ventilated too. There is a large fan in addition to the AC so you don’t have to crank up the AC fan. Nice touch. Everything is brand new. Staff are great. Thank you Ann and Phuong

A beautiful small hotel located in a quiet back street of An Bang Beach only metres from the beach. Close to great restaurants and beach bars. What really makes this place special are the gorgeous staff. Phuong and Anh at the reception desk are a delight. So helpful and friendly. The rest of the staff are also very friendly. This is a family run hotel whose priority is to make you as welcome as possible and they do that in bucket loads.

United KingdomNothing really - we were slightly confused when ordering breakfast. This needs to be done the evening before and we didn't realise you get one drink option - they do however provide additional tea on top of coffee or juice selected. Our only feedback would be it would be nice to get juice included as well as coffee. But we had a wonderful stay and were well filled after breakfast as a fruit platter is also provided.
Staff!! From the pick up driver to the reception and breakfast staff, everyone in the team is amazingly helpful, friendly and polite. Facilities are very new and clean, our room had a lovely view over the ocean and breakfast was tasty. The hotel is approximately a 30 second walk to the beach and they have a deal with the local sun lounger guy, Phuong, so you don't need to pay - just buy some drinks/food across the day. Short walk to other restaurants etc but away from the main parts of An Bang that can be very busy.

IrelandAbsolutely nothing. we had a wonderful stay Everything was beyond our expectations, only sorry we couldn't stay longer.
The Linh Seaside was a true find on our travels. The staff could not do enough for us.We had such a warm welcome. The room was beautiful, clean, and fresh with the added bonus of Air Con a fan, hairdryer and a mini bar.The beach was a 1 minute walk and free beds organised by the Linh. The breakfast is cooked to order and delicious. They organised taxis into the town and paid for them up front with the driver so that there was no risk we would be overcharged and we could settle the bill on checkout for any additional items , minibar , laundry etc. The Linh advised on tailors in the area, and we had fab dresses made. They gave very good recommendations of places to go and food to try. The staff were so helpful in recommending places and food to try in Ho Chi Minh City as one of the staff had studied there and this was our next stop. The Linh Seaside is perfect, and this is down to its staff. We will definitely go back and stay longer next time.

IndiaWe got a room on the second floor which did not have proper windows and had a slanting roof which was very low at one end. So there was a clustered feeling inside the room. However, all the other rooms in this hotel are much better. So its great as long as you don't get this particular room.
The proximity to the sea was superb.

JerseyOur room overlooked a waste groundnut its not their land so not their fault.
Was a great decision staying at yhe beach instead of the town. Weather wasn't so great and sea is rough a lot. The pool gets the sun in the morning which is good. What makes this place is the staff you pay no extra to get your tours through them. We went to Hoi An memories show and got taken and picked up amidst the chaos by their reliable driver.

The hotel is new and the room had everything we could want. The pool area is lovely. The beach is just a two-minute walk away and a great scene with Phoung’s lounge chairs and delicious food available. There are lots of great eating and spa options within a 5-minute walk of the property. The family and staff that operate the hotel are very kind and attentive, such wonderful people. We felt very cared for. The breakfast choices all were delicious. This was our best hotel stay so far in Vietnam, we hope we can return in the future.

United KingdomThe family who own the property were wonderful and incredibly helpful. My partner had been ill prior to us arriving and they gave him lots of ginger tea to help him feel better and even gave us a bag of tea upon leaving to take with us! The location is wonderful, so close to the beach and beach towels on demand were a lovely feature. We didn’t make use of the mini bus into town but it was great to know it was there to save a taxi fare! We had a great stay and would absolutely return.

United KingdomNothing every moment was perfect
From the moment my husband and I checked into the Linh we were treated like family. The family that run this hotel are so warm, friendly and helpful. The manager An ensured our checkin process was smooth and gave great recommendations for the local area. We were even invited to try a local specialty for dinner which we really enjoyed. They even arranged a shuttle from the airport to the hotel for us. The room we stayed in was beautifully designed and spotlessly clean, we loved the natural feel of the bathroom. There’s a free shuttle to town in the morning and evening which we made use of. The breakfast was cooked fresh every morning and very yummy, my husband loved the cao lau noodles. The hotel itself is a stones throw to the beach, where you can relax on the beach chairs of the local cafes. This hotel was by far the best that we stayed in on our trip to Vietnam, and I would be back in a heartbeat if I could, I miss it already!!

VietnamIt would be even more incredible if there was an available option on the menu to order kid-friendly breakfasts :) But this didn't impact our stay at all, we still loved it!
Super close walk to the beach, and they booked a very affordable and convenient basket boat ride for us at the last minute. My parents enjoyed their massages (booked last minute for 8pm!). There is a 7-seater car that can take you to town twice a day, and back to the hotel once in the afternoon. Its about a 10-15mn ride. Breakfast was to order the night before as they make it fresh for each guest at an agreed time. Various options of Asian and Western, all were delicious. We tend to prefer buffet options to keep it easy with our small kids, but the staff were extremely accomodating in serving us half portions or sides at the last minute instead. They even got sugar-free yogurt just for us per my request!
