Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNo balconies and no cigar lounge.
Clean, upmarket hotel, lavishly decorated with first class amenities and attentive staff. Ho Chi Min is not an entertaining or culturally exciting city, but staying at the Reverie is certainly worth doing - it is an experience in itself. A superb breakfast buffet - only let down by the utterly tasteless eggs (for some unknown reason)

IsraelThe only thing I’d mention is some of the policies of the hotel like refilling the coffee capsules once a day and the lack of products for the bathtub, there’s no shampoo nor foam or shower gel, they’re only provided for the shower
Oh the property is lavish and sophisticated, it looks and feels extravagant, definitely one of the best hotels I’ve been into while visiting Ho Chi Minh

New ZealandNothing to be fair. On the friday night of our stay the music from the city/clubs could be heard untill the early hours but thats a city that never sleeps for you. If you dont like it join them I say...
From the moment we got picked up at the airport the experience was flawless. The hotel is absolutly mindblowing. The location couldnt be any better. Right in amongst of the heart of the city. The staff made the stay top notch. Everything about this hotel exudes luxury. 10/10 absolutly wonderful experience!!!

AustraliaNothing, everything meeted our expectations and more.
The room was amazing, very spacious, good size bathroom and an amazing view of the river. Loved the included mini-bar and also being up on a high floor. Breakfast was included and this is the best breakfast buffet we had on our whole holiday. Fantastic Location as we had the Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street, right outside our door. Happy hour on the bar/cafe that goes onto street and also a great in-house restaurant.

United KingdomWish I’d picked different pillows, but that’s on me as they do have a pillow menu!
Beautiful hotel. I arrived two hours early expecting to have to leave my bags, but instead they let me check in early into my gorgeous room on the 37th floor, at no extra cost. Aldo asked if I could check out an hour later for my flight, again not a problem and no extra charge. Facilities are great.

So pleased we booked this hotel. It is so much fun to just wonder around with all the opulence. The lifts were amazing! We only stayed one night, but the service was fantastic. Our corner room had fantastic views of the river and city (highly recommend a high floor, we were on 30). Food, particularly breakfast was excellent. This was the best 5* hotel we stayed in in Vietnam and also topped the Fullerton Bay hotel in Singapore.

Indiathey do not extend courtesies like other chains do. We had booked 3 rooms and 1 room was cancelled due to family emergency post the last date for cancellation. This was missed by a day but they charged for it, contractually correct. All other hotels and Halong Bay cruise even though the notice was way past the deadline all of them extended courtesies and waived the charges. They did not do so on the ground that the booking was made thru you and hence they are powerless as YOU have collected the money by debiting my card. This did not stop here, even after the confirmation that money has been debited in my card since I was unable to produce that specific card they again took money from my other card stating that since the specific card was not presented they don't know whether their account has been credited or not?? Arguing with them was useless, the front Office Duty Manager on the 2nd day gave the letter stating that refund will be made for the double charge which will take upto 15 days. I for one will never stay nor would recommend anyone to use that hotel. Their hospitality is as dark as their elevators.
Room was comfortable and since we did not take breakfast we are unable to comment on the same. My recommendation to all other travelers will be NOT to include B'fast as there are plenty of very nice places all around where you can have B'fast at a forth of their rates.

Hong KongWe used the spa and although my experience was good, my wife had a very bad experience. She tried the cupping massage and the masseuse may not have been very experienced doing this as my wife good a very bad burn on one side of her back. The spa staff were not terribly helpful in resolving this issue.
Excellent location. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is a good size and the bathroom, in this room, has one of the best layouts I've ever seen. The pool is a good size and usually not too busy. The Chinese restaurant is excellent (Michelin rated).

United KingdomA must-go hotel in HCMC. Having been to a few other hotels in Vietnam and seeing friends hotels in HCMC. The Reverie is truly the best here. The Breakfast was good and a variety of choices, amazing Vietnamese coffee. The staff was helpful and kind. The spa treatment was amazing, Phuong - she did an amazing job during my 3 hours spa treatment with her. I felt brand new! My husband really liked the amenities at the gym also and was able to get decent work outs in! The hotel is absolutely the most beautiful and elegant hotel in HCMC. The aesthetics are very “Crazy Rich Asians” and so beautiful and lavish. I Would return in a heartbeat.
