Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ArgentinaI loved my stay, super close to the beach and the neighbourhood is super chill compared to busy old town. Only a 10 min grab to town if you don't rent a bike. They give you a lot of recommendations and even set up your mosquito net every night so you come back to a mosquito free bed which is a nice touch. The girls at reception were super friendly and always happy to help.

GermanyIt is a small paradise away from tourism. If you want to relax and have nice people around you, this is the place for you. The staff are friendly and helpful. Luna and Tien helped me a lot, be it with advice on activities or getting a sim card.

AustraliaInitially booked 3 nights, ended up staying 7. That's how much I loved this place. The food, the staff and the amenities were perfect. The room and bathrooms were clean. Ample areas to relax/work are there. The free breakfast is in a restaurant 5 minutes away - the food and service there was great. Loved mein Thien and Luna! Even booked a ticket to go see the Memories Show from here as it was cheaper - it was a fabulous evening! All in all I highly recommend this place! Can't wait to go back!

United KingdomA beautiful, quiet and relaxing homestay surrounded in lush vegetation. An especially kind and warm team here welcoming you on arrival and departure. I stayed in a bungalow which has wonderful touches of decor and tea/coffee making facilities. The walk to the beach, just 100 metres and a lovely chill out area at reception. I would happily stay again.

DenmarkA wonderful place if you prefer a charming and authentic space rather than a modern hotel. The place has a wonderful and serene vibe with a nice mix of travellers from young backpackers to families and feel more like hostels used to be. So nice to see that these places can still exist. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I stayed there 6 nights and was so happy I chose this place. It’s an easy bike ride from hoi an centre. The breakfast included at a nearby cafe is very nice and healthy. I stayed two nights in the dorm and the space is pretty nice and roomy. Only thing is that the bunk beds could do with an update as the beds move a lot when people in the top bunk move so it did feel a bit uncomfortable in the bottom bunk and I woke up several times in the nights. However the price for a dorm bed is unbeatable so just a thing to consider if you’re a light sleeper.

PortugalThere was incense burning all over the hostel to keep mosquitoes away which was fine while I was there but then my clothes smelled like incense for a week, which was not so nice. People prone to migraines should avoid
The vibe was amazing!

IrelandThe soundproofing isn't the best, so there can be noise from the early morning.
We had a brilliant stay in Under the Coconut Tree, we stayed in a private bungalow. The staff were a great help during our stay, particularly Tien. The location is good, nice breakfast. We booked a cooking class through the homestay which I would really recommend.

The room was very nice, a lot of space. For those who complain about animals entering - it's a homestay not a 5* hotel. All Staff is extremely willing to help with anything you need and they really do their best

United KingdomNot a problem for me but it’s a very open concept and the walls are bamboo thin, so of you are a light sleeper think again but it’s not a party place, so that’s great..
Really funky and relaxing.. Chilled vibes with really friendly beautiful staff.. A couple of minutes from the beach and seconds from the restaurants.. This place is special, get here before it disappears because greedy development is encroaching, like most places in Asia.. Very simple, very clean and very welcoming.. Loved it.. 😊
