Everything! The location was great for seeing a lot of what Samoa has to offer. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Our overwater bungalow was outstanding. To be able to sit on your deck and see turtles, baby reef sharks, stingrays and every colour of tropical fish you can imagine swimming right around you, was unbelievable. The view of the ocean and mountains were breathtaking and the food and cocktails were high quality. A wet edge pool overlooking the ocean and snorkelling at your door, what more could you ask for.

The rooms were clean & comfortable and the premises were well maintained. But having an active reef at your doorstep was incredible, I could (and did) stare at it for hours.

This hotel has a fantastic feel to it - avoiding any claims of pretentiousness by operating as a 4 star property, despite the facilities quite clearly having been built to a 5 star standard. If you’re looking for comparable hotels with a similar feel; anyone who’s ever stayed at Hotel Cholocat in Saint Lucia will recognise the laid back and relaxing atmosphere for sure.

Leaving! 3 nights was too short and although the weather didn't play nice the first 2 days we made the most of it!!

Great location to the Toa Sua Trench and Lalomanu beach and own lagoon was something else was jut a great overall experience for my family and look forward to coming to stay there again!

Great variety of fresh fruit, porridge & the breakfast menu energy for the day. Staff were helpful & pleasant. Dinner, was beautiful. 3 pools to swim, options for more private setting, & natural sea pool within boulders. Beautiful gardens, lawn, & walkways. Our Fale was spacious & peaceful. Hearing the lapping waves and watching the sea beyond the reef was breathtaking. Sheets & pillows lovely. Overall very classy, stylish, & I definitely will return. Sad to leave.

The quiet! And not many children due to it being a little more secluded without any kids club or anything. The restaurant had a great selection and all food was delicious. The staff both at Texans in the restaurant were outstanding! They were very attentive, friendly and just lovely to deal with. The maître de Albert was so nice, and professional, he even helped me with my rental car when he saw I was trying to sort an issue with it. All in all a great experience at this resort. 👍😎🌴

Would be nice to have drinkable water more accessible. The bar can refill the bottle. We had to ask for a 2nd bottle and then constantly ask for them to be refilled. Would be nice to have a filtered tap in the room or close to room Dinner options were okay but a little average in selection, the quality of food was always very good (would be nice to have a few more options especially a couple more fish ones). Fish of the day was exact same as fish of the day on the lunch menu but 20 Tala more expensive for no reason Pathway from tbe room block to reception / reztaurant was prettt rough and would benefit from some attention

Loved the pools and the property Staff were all awesome Room was great with nice balcony Had great fast, reliable wifi. We stayed at 3 places in Samoa and this was the only one with working internet. If going to Samoa I would definitely stay here again The breakfast was delicious and well cooked. Chef really knows what hes doing. Lunch options were good.

The place wasn’t as clean as last time we were there, especially the bathroom. It felt a little bit run down.

The staff in the restaurant really make this place worth visiting. They are always lovely. The restaurant is amazing.

The property's outside areas need some maintenance, including the pathways and pools. Umbrellas are needed for the sun loungers to protect people from the sun. It would be nice to have a massage therapist full-time there - we could not book a massage during the 2 days we were there.

Amazing beach and mountain views. Beach with crystal clear water. Reasonable snorkeling at the resort beach. Kaiaking. It is very relaxing and peaceful - much more peaceful than the other resort we stayed in.

The resort would benefit from a little bit of maintenance, but honestly it’s only superficial and doesn’t affect your stay in any way. It’s perfect for those looking for a nice quiet relaxing resort.

we weren't given any warning about the local dogs. There is at least one aggressively menacing dog that chased me, in either direction not far down the road, when I was walking. Very unpleasant!

There were a few minor things that could have made our trip perfect. The room was a wee bit tired, the fridge was rusty the shower and air con leaked and the walls needed a lick of paint. The kitchen ran out of multiple items which is disappointing when the resort was so small. The food was expensive for what you got too.

What a beautiful location! Private beach/lagoon are absolutely stunning. Room was big with a lovely private deck area. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating.
