Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SamoaOriginally I was put into a much smaller bungalow than I had paid for and told it was exactly the same, but that was sorted out. A little too many stairs for easy access with luggage.
Our bungalow was amazing, the location is within easy walking distance to the markets and shops. Very enjoyable stay

New ZealandIt would have been good to have chairs to sit on outside our room. Our room had poor natural lighting so we wanted to sit out on our porch to read but there were no chairs to sit on.
The friendliness of the staff. Property was clean and beautiful gardens . The public spaces were so open, cool and Samoan design was greatly appreciated and admired.

New ZealandThe breakfast pastries were a bit stale and the fruit selections kept running out. Otherwise, the hot breakfast selections were great.
The rooms were spacious and it was nice that it was cool when we walked in. It was on the ground floor for my mum who can't walk stairs. It was close to the restaurant and pool as well.

New ZealandThe food and drinks at the restaurant was tad bit overpriced for the small portions.

New ZealandOne thing I didn’t like was the parking situation. There weren’t enough car parks available, and the area out front didn’t have much space, which made it difficult to find a spot at times. Another thing was how far my room was from the reception — it was quite a walk. While the room itself was nice, the distance from the front desk was a bit inconvenient.
I really liked how convenient the Sheraton Hotel was — it was close to everything I needed and made getting around the town really easy. The staff were very nice and generous, always ready to help with a smile. I also found the room to be very clean and comfortable, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

New ZealandThe room we were checked in the floors were sticky and the table was also sticky. It was as if a fizzy drink had been spilt. A good wipe down quickly fixed that.
The staff are very friendly and helpful towards my elderly mum. Service from all staff were amazing. The buffet breakfast is worth it, was always full even up to lunchtime. I loved my mochas in the morning. The pool next to our bungalow was so good, my elderly mum loved swimming morning and in the evening. Will definitely be coming back.

The very warm welcome to the Hotel and complimentry drinks, the portering of our luggage to clean cool room that had a beautiful view of the harbour. The friendly and helpful staff preparing our big range breakfast and deloius dinners. Saoloto and other great staff members made our stay very comfortable day and night and around pool. United KingdomSamoa is undergoing rolling black outs, due to an energy shortage. The Hotel has a generator that should kick in when the power grid goes down. One night there was a problem and it took c 15 minutes for the power to come back on. A member of staff did come around to see that we were ok. Tip - do not go into the corridor and close your door - as the electrical key fob will not work to get you back into your room - so keep the door open.
Good variety for Breakfast. Room Cleaning excellent.

New ZealandThe near Lift was out of operation, so I needed to take a lot of stairs to get down to the Restaurant level each time. The other is too far away. The tub/shower is very narrow at the bottom, just wide enough for feet (sideways). Toiletries pump rack is placed in the confined area where you need to turn around; would be better placed further away from the sprayer.
Room was nice and spacious; nice bed. Furniture was good. Bathroom was nice, except the tub/shower. Good towels. View was very nice; quiet room. Good WIFI. Definitely would stay again.

New ZealandOutdated room but that was not the problem, sliding door didn’t have a working latch and we have kids so that wasn’t ideal, very concerning. Lights in room under side tables could not switch off or I just couldn’t find the switch anywhere, it was on 24/7 which was bothersome at night. No housekeeping done at all during our three night stay, no signs provided to let housekeeping know that we needed our bins emptied and cheers changed etc.. no do not disturb sign either, room service takes almost an hour. We fell asleep waiting and for woken up at 2.30am when it arrived after we had a late night, was not great. Breakfast buffet options were not great. Have had way better but the kitchen staff were amazing too. House keeping staff need to work on communication as I saw them in the hallways everyday yet no housekeeping done, only for checkouts it seems. Looks better in photos.
Staff were the highlight and were so amazing! 10/10 customer service (Thank you Setu and Heleina) Beds were comfortable, bathroom was ok. There was a tv that could chrome-cast Netflix. Wifi worked great. Air con worked great and very quickly
