Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandIt would have been nice if the facilities had been completely ready.
The room was fine but some things weren't ready - TV, phone, pool. But basically, it was comfortable and fine.

AustraliaOrganisation not their strong point! Missed wake up call, missed early breakfast, menu items in restaurant came in random order, generally elastic time. But all with a smile!
Lovely people but….

AustraliaThe pool was being redone meaning we couldn’t swim. This is me if the main reasons we booked. There was no apology or compensation offered which was a little disappointing

American SamoaWe had the buffet which was ok but the cost of drinks was outrageous. A glass of wine was like $35.00. Ouch!
Staff were great. They just partially reopened a few rooms. Pool area hadn’t reopened. Happy to have them back and wish them all the best!

AustraliaUnfortunately the main pool was closed and tv’s didn’t work however this was communicated with us before checkin and I was granted a small discount upon request. Smaller pool was still great.
Great location, breakfast and beautiful smiley staff providing excellent service. Definitely one of the more nicer hotels in Apia!

AustraliaFor me personally, I've got a really bad knees, and the stairs going up and down were challenging. A ramp would have been great. But overall, amazing property. We would definitely recommend this property to our family and friends, and would return again 😀
The location was great, very central of everything. Staff were AMAZING, front-line, kitchen staff. Rooms were exceptional 👌 It made our Family Reunion in Samoa an amazing experience we will never forget. We'll done Sheraton Samoa Aggie Grey's Hotel and Bungalows. Fa'fetai lava

AustraliaThe hotel is under refurbishment until Oct 2024 and not all facilities and room types are operational (main pool, gym, TV in room, telephone to reception) that isn't stated on Booking.com. We and other guests had room booking mixups and were placed in room types other than what we had confirmed. I found out that we had all booked through Booking.com and all had mixups. staff were apologetic and tried their best to fit our family.
Staff are super friendly and go out of their way to help. Reception, porters, front lobby barristas and bar staff are excellent, restaurant crew are attentive and friendly and helpful us to speak the local language, housekeeping are responsive and friendly. The king beds are very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is excellent, 6.30am-10.30am. Barista in front lobby open until 11pm daily. Beauty and massage service onsite. We had a welcome juice when we arrived. Beautiful sunset views. Flexible parking areas. We will stay here again.

New ZealandA lot of the facility is still being renovated, and we were unable to use the pool. Very limited food options we actually went to the city for dinner. There was no tv or phone and little to no information on what was going on over the internet. We stayed in a king poolside room, which was one of the premier rooms available at 650 tala a night. I thought it was very poorly renovated and falling apart already. It's not up to its usual standard, unfortunately.and I really did expect more for the price per night or at least some sort of compensation to make up for the lack of usable facilities
I loved that the old Aggies has been integrated into the new. Staff were exemplary and very friendly.

New ZealandParts of Aggie Grey's was still being renovated, ie, the main pool, seaview rooms and they had issues with their TV connections, which hopefully they will have those problems fixed soon.
The proximity to town/shops, easy to walk if you wanted to. Lots of good choices for breakfast, though there was only the lap pool available, that was well maintained. Our room was really nice especially as we were upgraded to a big bungalow.

AustraliaMildew smell in room. Pool wait staff too relaxed and not actively attentive. At times I gave up on ordering drinks and food as there was no one around. Samoan people need to be more customer focused. Music played in pool area was too loud. Facility needs maintenance as it looks tired. Rooms in main building such as hall way leading to bedrooms are outdated. Elevator and stairs going to bedroom smell again that mildew smell.
It was value for money. Wait staff very professional and attentive.

AustraliaHmm room wasn't properly cleaned, bathroom handsoap was empty, toilet seat was broken🤦 expected a microwave or toaster...for the price you'd expect all basic necessities and everything in working/good condition. A handful of staff need training in basic/good communication skills, we stayed there last night and tonight we are staying in Sheraton Mulifanua, big comparison, very happy here in Mulifanua 😊
