The new manager Andre was super helpful and friendly, once he found out I was allergic to Gluten he went out of his way to purchase gluten free options to have on the menu. Other staff super friendly too. They are still getting on top of some maintenance etc after the long covid break, but 100% recommend staying there. We saw turtles every time we went out snorkeling right in front of the resort.

After an almost 3 year hiatus, Samoa has reopened its borders and so the hotels and accomodations are starting to get back on their feet. However I can assure you that our time in Stevensons couldn't be lovelier. The rooms are super comfortable (with an amazing AC which is crucial for that warm weather!!). The staff couldn't be nicer and did their absolute best to make us feel like at home. Andrea, the manager is incredible! Food from the bar was great as well as the cocktails!

Value... $335 a night for no hot water for two days of my stay, then the next two nights NO water at all from 8pm to 7am. I read these reviews and base my holidays on them. So I reviewed this property but these reviews go back to pre covid, it all sounded wonderful. I am very understanding of what the world has gone through and accepting but Stevensons published on facebook page beginning of May they are opening in August... time to fix all the problems. You are overcharging and need to quickly review your charges. Ocean view.? yes on the waters edge but dead palm fronds and dead trees block the view. Stevensons looks very tired. I had one of the most expensive rooms, large hole in my bedroom ceiling, water leaking from toilet roof onto seat , no hot water for first two days, no water from 8pm to 7am for two mornings following, no lighting at the entrance and light bulb fitting broken. Did have to request two extra bars of Lux soap as they were being taken away by the rat spending time behind the bathroom mirror. Meal options very limited, one entree, 2-4 main course options and in 5 nights, 1 option of desert available for 2 nights but they didnt have what was on the board 1 night. Thinking this was 'normal' found that 3 km up road to another resort, less costly and a full menu available and a full bar... Stevensons bar poorly stocked. I read this review back to myself and feel like I sound like a negative traveller but believe me I am not... this is the first bad review I have given and I have travelled quite a bit. The staff are wonderful and doing the best with what they have. Also advertised as having wifi... there isn't any. Travellers be wary. Booking.com you need to follow up as you aren't doing your website any favours promoting this property.

The whole place is in disrepair.It needs total renovation.The price does not line up with the the facilities.At the moment this is 2 Star. We obviously should have used a travel agent.Costly error.

We have been charged twice upon checkout with no explanation of additional charge. Have tried calling and emailing but no answer as yet.

Majority of staff were lovely. Good location. Looks a bit rundown now - seems like half property is not in use anymore. We stayed in a Euro fale which was a bit tight for space for 3 of us.

Wasn’t worth the price , different to what was advertised online to what we seen in person . They didn’t mention construction on main beach , also the price was way overpriced !
