Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Shower drain not working, I had heard about this place having bed bugs and I found it to be true. Spray alcohol or vinegar and vacuum; it should help.
We didn't have breakfast; left the property at 6 a.m.

Rather noisy because of guests arriving and departing at all hours. Facilties very basic - that was to be expected from reviews but the price promised more.
Good location and free airport pickup.

Location is perfect for those who need a place to stay before an early or late flight as it is really close to the airport or for those who are travelling to/from savaii as it is located in between airport and the wharf. The place has definitely grown since last staying here over 5 years ago - the staff are friendly and there is even a free shuttle bus service to ensure you make your flight. New addition is there is now an pool and resturant at the front of the place and plenty of space to park

Room next to reception was TOO NOISY (horrible) If you are in the back it’s fine! Sink was not cleaned (shower clean and linen also)

People waiting for guests at the airport should dress properly and professional. They are the first representation of your hotel to your guests. Maybe something to look into, we didn't mind but would be helpful to attract more guests in the future.
Staff at front desk were really helpful and friendly, the facilities suitable to the price. The beds were comfortable.

They do not have WiFi. Staff might not be the nicest ever, but they do their job. Restaurant is expensive. Rooms are very simple, quite humid, and some of them do not have hot water. The whole place is also a bit too noisy.
Good location right between the airport and the wharf. Free transfer service to both of them. Plenty of parking space. You can pay with credit card (with a 4% fee).

Super good for making connections. Their air con rooms are good. This is far from anything else, it is a hour taxi drive to the city of Apia. This motel is very adequate, but not fancy, but good value for money.
Staff friendly and helpful. I asked for airport pickup and he was right there. If you need to overnight to make connections at Faleolo Airport, this is by far the best location, short drive (way too long to walk). I got an air conditioned room and the temperature was right. There is a restaurant, which had generous portions at a good price. If you have a night plane to catch they will wake you up on request.

No TV, no internet
Location, location, location Cheap and cheerful We had to be at the airport at 2.00am so the hotel was perfect Walk to Sheraton Resort for bars and restaurants.

Tired from traveling, wanted to sleep in but woken by the blower before 7am. I understand trying to clean up before the sun comes out but some like me want to wake up on my own.
Did not have breakfast but location is perfect and it serves its name.

Could have chanaged the sheets. They didn't look fresh
Breakfast was great, 3 eggs, sliced up sausages and 2 toast. We had to ask for butter and waited 5 minutes for it. Coffee was instant and good

There was a leak in the bathroom and the people that sit where they do the laundry were not quite friendly. Never greet with a smile. Just the one that empty and full up the toilets was very kind. Short hair and Palagi looking. Very nice person.
The lady that we dealt with on the day was friendly & kind. Property was nice. The Pool area was really good. I would stay there again if I had to because it’s close to my husbands village.

Not sure why so badly rated as served it’s purpose for a night when had an early flight following morning. Has a free shuttle to airport. Had a restaurant with verandah to sit out on. Had the BBQ and rice which was tasty. Can buy beers in reception.
