We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bathroom door did not close so it caused noise through out the day. Could not open the curtains because there’s no lining. No Aircon, no burglars on the windows which is a safety hazard.

United KingdomA cleaner stole my herbal medication I bought for travelling. I could have given her money to buy one if asked. I requested for an iron which never came.. One I borrowed had a black under. How can this be.
The shower, easy to use or balance the water temperature. Easy to walk in and out. Access to and out of the facility. Quiet place no disturbances all through the day.

South AfricaService from staff. Firstly I was sent the incorrect check in details, my driver had to wait outside of 40 mins. He checked out on Tuesday 7:30am, left the keys where he was told to. Then I received a call saying they didn’t receive payment on Wednesday at 11am (24 hours after checking out) and asking where the keys are coz they can’t find them. I was then told I have to pick up the cost of changing locks because THEY can’t find the keys. I’m very unhappy with their service!

I liked that the house was actually secured. The room was clean and tidy and quite comfortable. I love how the room was so spacious and had everything close by that was needed.

KenyaIndiscipline patrons drunk and forcing themselves. in my room late and asking my toilet soap and tissues as if they had not been supplied in there rooms An employee to guide us where to go for dinner or breakfast general guidance was not there.
There was no breakfast although the location was good , clean and nearness to the road. the room had water heater kettle boiling hot water in the room but did not have sweetener or coffee or tea leaves.
