Our game drive was cut short in the morning, there were no snacks in the morning drive we couldn't set up and have snacks. Other than that I love the place it's worth the long drive 😊

I liked everything about the lodge, it's beautiful relaxing the stuff is amazing they always smiling always ready to assist whenever you need assistance. The food exceptional. The rooms perfect the view the peace its amazing my husband and I enjoyed every moment. The even had a romantic set up as we were celebrating our anniversary it's worth every penny spent 👌

Everything was awesome

The Accommodation was top notch, our home away from home was kept clean and tidy all the time . The gurd Sibusiso is awesome very much learnt about nature from him. Kwanele the Manager was welcoming... and all the staff was very friendly and available for anything. The game drive was very much informative. The restaurant and pool deck was clean.

Everything, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Before we arrived the morning call from Mandisa was refreshing. Sibu our guide was superb. Every shift was on point. We were very happy. It was partners birthday and they had a beautiful suprise for us when we got to our room.

There’s honestly nothing to dislike about this young gem 💎 of a location.

Stunning views from the comfort of your bed. The location of the property is truly a thing of beauty 😍 with our room overlooking the uMfolozi River and the Game reserve. The views of the sunset 🌅 over the uMfolozi Mountains from our bedroom patio was absolutely breathtaking 🥹. The rooms had everything we needed and more for our young family’s getaway to celebrate our 7th anniversary with our 7 month old son 👶🏾. Our room even had a travel cot for him with a nanny on request when we went for the game drives. The see-through fireplace are also a nice touch. Despite all the load shedding; there was power at the lodge at all times. The hospitality from the friendly stuff really made the 6hour drive from Pretoria worth it. They really personified the phrase “Kumnandi ukuba sekhaya” 😊. Special mention to the chefs who made every dinner 🥘 meal, one to remember 😋. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Babanango and looking forward to returning there in the future. Hopefully then they would have the complete big 5, the game they already have 3 years since opening was already impressive 🙂.

I liked my suite because it had a private pool and the bed was so huge, the linen was soft and it was super clean. The staff from management to general staff and tour guides were very welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent and the views are out of this world. I really enjoyed the afternoon game drive that ended with watching sunset over drinks with Wildebeest grazing past us. Beautiful is an understatement. I came back a totally different person .

You could add a snack bar in the room.

Every single staff you meet wears a genuine smile, friendly and eager to help you or just have a conversation. I had a pleasant interaction with Mbongiseni Ngema who drove me twice from the lodge to the hub. He treats the lodge as though is his. He wants all my friends and acquaintances to come see the place. Anyways it’s an easy sell because the place is as amazing as it’s people. I must say, the fire-place definitely adds to the cosy and warm ambience. It’s unforgettable!!!
