We really enjoyed the location and privacy of the property, it is close enough to town to enjoy everything the town has to offer but it is far enough to offer peace and quiet with an amazing view!

We stayed in the Bontebok and there was not a wash up basin in the unit.

The view was majestic and the staff was very professional.

In the KUDU room the lighting is a bid bad, and shower was a bit small and crammed. The light switches for the lamps also a bit of a problem, but overall lovely.

The whole stay was wonderful, the view was amazing, staff friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and neat.

No sweetener in the room. Would live some fresh/ not longline milk. The neighbors upstairs were loud since 5am. But after the staff had a talk with them it was 120% better on night 2. I am so sorry to see all the structural and environmental damage to Chamonix after the rain

Definitely the welcoming staff. The accomodation. Bontebok. The view spectacular. Breakfast on Parr. I would recommend you to everyone. Wanted to book another weekend, but it was unfortunately fully booked. We'll done guys. I hear there are new owners. Hope they get this place to a star 🌟

Of course the rainy and windy weather during our stay was beyond anyone's control. The rain meant we couldn't really enjoy all the facilities - such as the pool or walks in the Estate. The wind was quite hectic and caused some noise, which was a bit of a frustration during the night. Since they're still working on the Estate property - the roads leading to accommodations are quite bumpy so one needs to be extra careful when driving in and out from the town. On the day we checked out, the town itself was quite flooded because of the heavy rain that came down.

My husband and I loved our little week-day stay at Chamonix. The Estate is huge with stunning views of the surrounding mountains, lakes and vineyards. We initially booked one of the Safari lodges. After communicating with Natasha that I was hoping for a bathroom with a bath - she then upgraded us to a Marco Polo Suite which came with a lovely bath and shower. Our Suite was comfortable, functional and spacious. We've never had better sleep thanks to the exceptionally cosy bed. The private bathroom was also quite spacious, including a lovely big bath that we enjoyed unwinding in. Views from our room windows overlooked different parts of the Estate - all equally stunning. Breakfast was well prepared by the staff who were always friendly and kind. We also loved that it was served in the communal area where guests could also lounge by the fireplae or enjoy brekkie outside on the deck area overlooking the Estate. The Estate is a few minutes from the town area so shops and restaurants are easily accessible by car.

Nothing to complain about!

Luxury stay at the Chamonix estate. A warm welcome from Natasha. We had two accomodations. One family house with all comforts and an small “jungle” bungalow, also with all the comfort you’d expect. Breakfast was served in the main building and was very nice. We went for a scooter downhill experience on the estate, followed by wine tasting. Had a lovely day.

Not a thing - it was wonderful

We arrived late, and were met by John - the guesthouse manager, who was extremely friendly and welcoming. Due to the recent bad weather, the road to our cottage was a bit rough, so he upgraded us to an exceptional suite in the main house. The views were breathtaking, the room was lovely and warm (despite the fact that it was the middle of winter, and freezing), and we were thoroughly spoilt by the staff throughout our stay. A wonderful mid-week stay. Thank you Chamonix!
