After entering the premises at night got lost as the map detailing the road was drawn out and misleading in the dark.

The only thing I would point out is that when showering or using the tap, it somehow affects the lights in the cottage ( lights keep flickering while water is running)

We had such an amazing stay at the waterfall cottage, we were so surprised at the stunning location! Lovely waking up with sound of the waterfall right by your window. We will definitely be back.

The hotel is placed close enough to the center of Franshoeck to go for a meal but also close to a greean area to enjoy nature and calm.

Nothing bad!

This is a absolutely beautiful location. We loved everything about the lodge. The breakfast was great, and we met interresting people round the shared breakfast table. This is the best of both worlds, completely secluded from the world when you want, but literally less than 5km away from a world of fine dining, wine farms, and loads of other activities. We really loved our stay and would absolutely visit again! The room was well equiped and lacked nothing. 10 stars!

At first I was surprised that I had to share a table with the other guest however it turned out to be the highlight of my trip. We made some genuine connections with the guests that we had breakfast with. The breakfast was amazing!

The on the way to the accommodation was not very well signposted. We got lost on our way from the main gate and had to ask someone working in the garden down the road.

The breakfast was delicious and the staff very attentive. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. It was exciting driving past the game from our room to the dining room in the main building.

Literally everything was stunning. 10/10 all round. Except for the many taxidermied animals everywhere. That was off-putting. But I guess that's just how the cookie crumbles, you get me?

Nothing really, maybe just the road driving up, a little rough for my vehicle, and they where bulldozing the fields but I am sure next time will be sorted.

It was an absolutely amazing experience, although it was cold and rainy. We loved how excluded it was and the waterfall right next to the chalet was SO beautiful! It really is special and we'd LOVE to go back!

There is NO CONNECTIVITY at the cottage, even from local service providers, which I think should be more explicit on the website. If one needed to work, do banking or was on standby etc. this would be a major problem. Perfect if you are looking for a complete break from society though. Another odd thing was that when one turned the taps on, then the lights would dim and flicker. However, none of the aforementioned would stop us from returning.

The lady that checked us in was really passionate about her job, and the farm, and showed us the lodge and wild life on the farm telling us about the history of the place. The cottage was secluded and felt like one was in a forest with a beautiful waterfall in your backyard. It was exactly as the pictures presented, inside and out. The rock cottage was a little chilly but the fireplace inside, and wood supplied, did the trick in keeping it warm and cozy. There were night lights that lit up the mountain and waterfall, which was absolutely breathtaking, so sitting around the firepit at night was amazing. Loved that we felt like we were immersed in nature, but once we drove through the farm, past all the wildlife, and left the gate, we were in town, so convenient!

Staff very friendly Beautiful view Enjoyed the breakfast and had a view of the game. We also enjoyed walking around the farm in the mornings. Also enjoyed a wine tasting at the Chamonix wine tasting area.

We were a group of 9 people and had all breakfast together. After less than an hour we got asked to move as they wanted to set up for our guests. Most of my friends still wanted to eat more but didn't feel welcome to come to eat more.

The location was amazing. The rooms and lodges were very special.

The seal on the shower was broken so when we showered the water ran all over the bathroom floor.
