Everything was wonderful. The staff were super friendly and helpful and we felt so welcomed there. A big thanks to the time we spent there and especially the food (breakfast and we also had dinner) was outstanding.

Nothing, everything was top notch.

The location is perfect and the scenery is out of this world. The staff was amazing and really took care of me from the moment I checked in up until I checked out - the ladies really outdid themselves. Another top highlight was the breakfast- I loved the fact that I could choose exactly what I wanted for breakfast from their amazing menu and it was very filling. I will most definitely miss the food and views from the Cliffside.

This was my third stay and I hope not my last. The property is stylish and elegant, the rooms each have their own character, but all are beautiful, very comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast is freshly cooked and is a feast for the eyes and appetite. To top everything off, the team make every effort to make you feel entirely at home as if you were a long lost family member coming to visit. I was very sad to have to leave.

Had a lovely romantic break with my wife. Room covered with rose petals. Wonderful welcome by lovely host Cindy made us feel right at home. Spotless and well maintained property. So many special touches such as free coffee and teas with freshly baked cake, welcome drinks, complimentary items in room fridge, free use of facilities such as sauna and sparkling pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautifully presented and tasty food. Really only negative was having to leave after 2 days. Thank you!

Steps to 2nd floor bedrooms (there are no lifts). Complex accessibility to DSTV (but this was not a showstopper since the facilities are superb)! Pre-ordering meals, since there is no on-site, full-time restaurant.

All staff's friendliness & willingness to help, top-notch facilities, general cleanliness, superior quality of food, snacks & equipment. Everything works well. Overall, there was never a time required to consider safety & security issues when at this 5 Star hotel.

The property has an outstanding, beautiful and safe location which allows you to be in touch with nature, undertake outdoor activities. It is exclusive and boutique with exceptional level service. I would not consider any other hotel in Johannesburg after my stay at the Cliffside.

This is the best place to stay in Johannesburg. Just outside of the city where it is quiet and safe. A great place where service is unmatched. Personalisation is the key word here, they know you, they have a sincere interest in you and deliver the best service. I have never had that experience. Enjoy the pool, the sauna, the beaufil rooms and comfortable beds. TV with AppleTV, drinks, cookies, you name it. And if you need anything, ask them and they make it work.

The Cliffside has a lot going for it. Its greatest assets are the amazing staff who are attentive and accommodating. They are unobtrusive but available to cater to all your needs. This was a much needed break for us after some challenging months. We couldn't have picked a better place. An absolute diamond on the outskirts of a bustling city. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The views over Johannesburg are stunning anytime of the day or night. The property is safe and secure with CCTV and an electric gate. Breakfast was always topnotch and a treat to be savoured. Facilities were exceptional, and the premises pristine. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and have every intention of coming back. A big thank you to all at The Cliffside.
