It is important to remember that the hotel is a work in progress. It is a seriously old school hotel....if you are looking for modern, this is not it! It is on the main road, there is some traffic noise. It settles down during the night and starts up in the morning. I'm a light sleeper and I had no problems in having a good night's sleep. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and look forward to more visits.

The owners are warm and welcoming. The importance of personal touch can never be over emphasised. Werner and Bernadette remember each guest's name and you are treated like long time friends. The windows have blackout curtains!!! I need a dark room for a good night's sleep. There was safe and secure parking. I enjoyed the light breakfast. Werner introduced the guests to ostrich sausage and it was good. The sugar bowl, milk jug, butter dish etc at the table reminded me of my ouma. The hotel is full of artwork, rugs etc from a bygone era.

Effortless hospitality by gracious hosts. Excellent location and wonderful bar and dining hall. Loved drinking a beautiful gin and tonic on the long stoep. The ostrich fillet was just perfect. While we were there in December 2024 a swimming pool was under construction, which will be fabulous once done. Our room was a lovely period room. This is not your generic guesthouse experience, which makes it fully worth the stop.

The supper of ostrich steakr was so good I wanted to lick out my plate...!! The artwork and vintage atmosphere was fantastic. The bar had a relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. A GREAT STAY....

The heat was almost unbearable in the room where my daughter stayed. Unfortunately, the room was without air-conditioning, but the room I stayed in was airconditioned and wonderful. The owner did however promise that he will add air conditioning to the rest of the rooms as well. They only started a year ago refurbishing the hotel, but they did wonders in the place! I will definitely go back to the hotel!

Werner & Bernadette at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location. The beauty was extraordinary!

THE BREAKFAST WAS GOOD, THE COFFEE WAS VERY GOOD. OVERALL IT COULD HAVE HAD MORE ELEMENTS E.G. SAUSAGE, JOGHURT, FRUIT, MEUSLI ETC.
