We felt very comfortable and warmly welcomed. The apartment is tastefully furnished and was the perfect place to enjoy a few relaxing days. We especially appreciated the peaceful location and the pleasant, friendly atmosphere. A real highlight was the breakfast: every morning there was something different, and we were always curious to see what would be served – and it was always delicious! Of course, you could let them know in advance if there was anything you didn’t like. Thank you as well for the warm welcome and your helpfulness. We would be happy to return.

Our entire experience from booking in to booking out and everything inbetween was exceptional. The host even offered us extra at the accomidation which we did not use but was extreamly greatful for the kind gesture. I would highly recomand eight palms or there other accomodation to any one looking to travel to the wild coast.

Eight Palms is a hidden gem in Port Edward. They serve you mouthwatering breakfast right at your patio. The place is cozy and peaceful. The hospitality from the staff was great. They make sure you have everything you need. DSTV with all the channels. The WiFi connection was great too.

Braai, beds and pillows comfortable, cleaned every day, close to shops and beach, owners brilliant make you feel at home. Best brekkie in SA no lies, try it, a surprise each day, amazing. Lots of birds and tranquil atmosphere. On site parking and own gate fob. Highly recommend

Just be aware there was a little dog that tried to nip at my partner as we were exiting the gate, but the owner was helpful upon our return. A common theme in South Africa as well is not to have screens on the windows which allows bugs to get inside, but it seems to be across the board in most accomodations.

The little accomdation had everything we needed (cutlery, microwave, and towels) and was very cozy. It was a very close walk to the beach. Also very close to the Beaver Creek Coffee Estate which is amazing, we got in too late so we weren’t able to do the trails there seemed like a lot but you can do a sample of all the coffees unlimited for 35 Rand.

The host was truly amazing. The accommodation had everything and more, including en-suite self-catering facilities and a private terrace area with wonderful views. The breakfast was incredible!!! The amenities are a very short walk away. Eight Palms will definitely see us again, it's a perfect location to explore the surrounds and a wonderful, welcoming overnight stay.

We stayed at Eight Palms for one night, as a stopover in our journey. Carmien was fabulous, and was very helpful in guiding us on where to go for a great dinner, and arranged an amazing cooked breakfast for us even though we were leaving very early the next morning.
