Amazing staff and service. Tour guide was very keen to help us find the Big 5 and other animals. Meals were delicious. Tent was beautiful and clean. Unfortunately we missed the elephants drinking in the pool but assume that would have been an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

If I had to say one thing is that the welcome was a bit weird. A guy met us and told us we didn't look excited and that it was a bit stupid we were only staying for one night. We just had a long, stressful drive to get to the camp, so that's why we needed a few minutes to relax. And you know... this place is pricey. Don't get me wrong, it is worth every penny (in this case my boyfriends penny's, haha). So not everyone can afford to stay more than 1 night. Please be respectful about that. It would be nice to be a bit more positive: 'So nice to see you! You'll have a stay here'. That is much nicer to hear...

This was so special! My boyfriend gave this night here for my birthday, and it was by far the best present ever! The staff is lovely, the food is great, the tents super luxurious and the safaris amazing. I also loved the interaction with the other guests during the safaris, cocktail hour and dinner.

Everything! This was our first African safari experience & we stayed 2 nights (4 game drives and incredible sightings, so we were well satisfied but we could have stayed for weeks and enjoyed ourselves). The whole experience was relaxing & scintillating at the same time. Every detail has been thought through & executed to perfection (includ complimentary water bottles to refill, bug spray, great drinks and snacks on the safaris, emergency foghorn, etc). From your welcome tour to the instructions on safety (unfenced camp). The camp is beautiful, with stunning views all around. We loved our tent, complete with safe & monkey-proof storage! The shower & vanity area was great, the bed with mosquito net was SO comfortable (housekeeping come multiple times a day and make sure to open & close this as appropriate), and the seating area to look out into the bush is lovely. Our guide Michael was brilliant & hilarious. He went above and beyond to customise our game drives to the individuals in the group to make sure everyone had the best chance of seeing what they hoped to see. He was super knowledgeable, hilarious, and kept us safe at all times - an expert 4x4 driver!! The whole team at Honeyguide Mantobeni were warm, welcoming, and helpful. We felt at home and didn't want to leave. We were also impressed with the sustainability-led touches & information on the Albatros group's commitment to conservation & local community engagement initiatives. We cannot wait to come back again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this camp to anyone!

The weather and flooding was not ideal. Large parts of the reserve were not open due to the flooding and rain.

The camp was great. The guides were excellent and really worked to find the animals, even though the weather was not ideal. The food was great with plenty of variety. One of the best parts was getting close to the elephants that by the swimming pool to get a drink.

Nothing not to like.

The staff were very accommodating from point of check to transfer to Mantobeni have stayed in both camps and highly recommend them. I like the bird hide in Mantobeni but I prefer the tent at Khoka Moya saying that there is very little between the two. I have been a solo guest and a guest with a friend both great experiences.

Spectaculair game drives with our guide Brilliant. Saw almost all of the Big 5, and also other rare animals such as a cheetah. Tents are very spacious and food is delicious. During our 3-night stay, we saw 1 elephant at the pool - which was unforgettable! Highly recommended this lodge.

No wifi in the tents, only around the pool (which the lodge had clearly indicated, so no surprise). The access road was a bit rough for our Toyota Corolla

Great location in the Manyleti reserve which was really good for game viewings with well organized morning and evening safari drives. We really enjoyed the safari, saw the big 5 and lot of other wildlife in our two days at the lodge. Knowledgeable guides who seemed to love their job. Food was very good. Excellent staff. The tents are comfortable and spread out nicely. There is no fence around the camp, meaning that we had impalas, hyenas and one morning two lions just a few meters from our tent. One day when we had lunch, an elephant came right up to the pool.

Last 2 of 6 game drives were with 10 people, that was maybe a bit too much, but nevertheless it was fun. The elephants you see drinking at the pool don't show up everyday ( don't let you make this decide to choose for Honeyguide Mantobeni)

Food was (simple but) really good, great choices of wine! We stayed 3 nights and saw Big 5 (even magnificent 7) and lot of birds and other animals (turtoise, snake,...) Tent was big and conveniant, and cleaned up every day.
