Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Germany-
We had an amazing time in the Honeyguide Khoka Moya Camp. The Safari is in the middle of the wildlife with Elephants all around, even at the pool. The game drives were super nice with a lot of animals very close. Food was always very good and the Honeyguide team very friendly.

FranceUnforgettable stay : Beautiful location in the middle of the unfenced Manyeleti reserve, very comfortable tents and attentive staff. The game drives were exceptional: the guides communicate with other guides to make sure we get the most out of each drive. We would have loved to stay longer. The food was also very good. The elephants come to the pool several times a day.

NetherlandsEverything is great. The tents might be replaced / renewed in certain time. But for now; great stay.
Wow! What a lovely tented camp. The staff really takes care of you and make you feel at home. Delicious food is provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner and there is coffee and tea throughout the day. A special thanks to our ranger / guide Lyton… he really made our game drives unforgettable. He know everything about the animal kingdom and gave us a amazing experience. We found the complete big 5! 😍

AustraliaSwimming pool needed a bit more shade I.e. umbrellas or shade sails. Mosquito nets were a bit tired. Wiring in tent 1 needs to be checked

United KingdomSome days the food was variable - most days it was good standard salad meat and carb buffet. Breakfast was excellent.
Wonderful bush safari camp with elephant, monkeys and other wildlife wandering past your tent. Elephant at the swimming pool just amazing. We had an fabulous guide in Lyton who was so knowledgeable and friendly and we saw some amazing sights including Lion, elephant, giraffe and zebra, buffalo, cheetah, rhino. But best of all was following the stories of animals we saw most days as they played, hunted, ate, fought and rested together. Stayed 5 nights and could have stayed 10. One or two nights just would t be enough.

ItalyWe had an amazing stay at Khoka Moya after 3 nights in Kruger NP rest camps. The Honeyguide camp is situated rather close to the Manyeleti entrance gate and is well structured, with the tents surrounding the restaurant area and swimming pool. All tents face the bush and the camp is unfenced so animals may get close, however we never felt unsafe, also thanks to the staff who was always very kind and attentive. Our ranger Jeffrey made the game drives fun and informative. The radio contact among rangers within the Manyeleti reserve makes it easier to view rare animals compared to Kruger. Food was served as buffet and was always of great quality.

GermanyNo warm water to shower, the pool was cleaned during all 3 days we stayed, and the communication was poor in terms of processes (time of dinner / lunch / breakfast and game drives), especially as the schedule switched during our stay from summer to winter. Also security instructions in terms of how to get to the tent after sunset was not well explained / other guests helped us. Furthermore, we asked for a bush walk directly when checking in, and it could not be offered to us during the whole stay - very sad.
Very great tented Safari camp and fantastic Game Drives. Within 2 nights, we had 4 Game Drives and could see not only Zebras, Elephants, Giraffes, but also Leopard, Rhino, Cheetah - thanks to our great driver Devance. Food was also very nice and as the accommodation was without fence, we saw elephants drinking next to the pool and eating next to our tent.

SwitzerlandThe Khoka Moya camp tends to focus on larger, organised groups and we felt slightly out of place at times. Don't let this put you off but I hope management address this. They do have a second site nearby with more private guests.
The local staff were engaging and charming. Our safari guide Dan was the best! He made our stay fun and so memorable. We also got to see all the animals we wanted to. We even had elephants wandering through the camp to drink at the waterhole at the centre of the camp.

BelgiumIt is mentioned on the page, but drinks are not included in the all inclusive (not even soft drinks). We felt that, considering the price paid, all soft drinks should be available. This is the only minor point for the whole stay, that was incredible.
Best trip of our lives. The camp is located within the Manyeleti reserve (it’s not easy to find on the gps, but is very well indicated as from the moment you arrive at the gate). We saw animals as from the moment we passed the gate : zebras on the road, elephants roaming around the swimming pool (they were there every day of our stay!). We were afraid of not seeing many animals because we came in the rain season (January) but we saw the Big 5 in 3 game drives! Devance was an excellent guide and we learned a lot about the area thanks to his broad knowledge. The food was excellent, and they even organised a special braai for New Year’s Eve.

GermanyWe were almost charged double with the entrance fee, that was not so nice. It was corrected immediately… but it wasn’t so nice. We also did not have warm water, even though we were told there should be.
The most amazing thing was to see the Elephants at the water whole and the pool just in front of the accommodation. The warmed bed (with this electrically warmed blanket) was so great.
