The place is perfectly located, Marloth is very safe and close to Crocodile bridge gate. The room, shower, food, game drives were all very personalized for us. Common areas were so cool, even some animals came visit. Mayra and Rene are great hosts. They run the hostel and at the same time hang out with us. If you are lucky they even do the tours with you. I would definitely recommend!

I've stayed in lots of hostels before but this stands out as being one of my favourites for sure. Staff are so welcoming and friendly, they make a real effort to make sure you have what you need during your stay and make you feel like part of their family! The dinner was delicious and everywhere was super clean. The shower in the dorm was lovely too :) The location is incredible. You are in and amongst so much wildlife, animals coming to the pool was an absolute highlight. Martin was a wonderful guy, so much energy and enthusiasm on the game drive! I highly recommend doing the game drive and the night drive, it is so worth it. Thank you for a great stay, I really hope to be back one day!

The friendlyness of the hosts. Very friendly family managed Hostel. You istantly feel welcomed as a New member of the family. Kruger Tours are organised from the Hostel. So you are abel to enjoy the Kruger Parl as much as possible with your friends from the Kruger Park Hostel. Everyone was very friendly and warm harte. Thank you very much for the great time in your Hostel. I will ne er forget this oustanding days in your Hostel. Thank You. Robert.

Our room was spacious,well ventilated and comfortable. The shared bathroom gets serviced daily but the people who came in on our 2nd night made a lot of mess which I can’t fault the establishment.

A little slice of bush heaven tucked near the Kruger Park. The staff and volunteers were extremely kind and attentive and quickly make you feel part of the hostel community. Within a few hours of arriving we had visitors by the pool (zebras!). The hostel was extremely clean and well decorated. The pool was clean and great for when you need to cool down. There were different spaces to mingle with others or have some quiet time/do work if you wish. The tours were awesome - despite it being a scorcher of a day we saw a plethora of wildlife! The hostel doesn’t host too many guests, which creates an intimate feel and makes it easier to get to know everyone. By the end of the trip, you will feel like part of the hostel family. I hope to visit again and will recommend to friends! 🌻

Lack of electronic plugs in the room.

Great location in the reserve..you can see animals right next to where you sleep. Staff is incredible friendly and knowledgeable and can help you out with trips (not just with the ones they offer themselves). This is a great starting point for all those who want to go to Kruger on a budget. Great hostel, great vibe, very clean. Bicycle rental, dinner included, and so much more

The family who runs the hostel will definitely go out of their way to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The hostel is chill, but social, it organizes activities on chill days, afternoon BBQs, game drives to Kruger, transfer to night safaris, etc. Everything was really easy. I recommend staying at least 3 nights to be able to do all activities.

Really minor thing which cannot be changed, I first felt a bit uncomfortable as the place is quite remote in a rural area. But this is what gives you the feeling of peacefulness 😉

It was a great stay. Marion and Oliver, who were running the hostel while their son was on holidays, were great hosts. The pool is really nice. It is a really peaceful place which just relaxes you. I only stayed 1 night, if I had known before I would have booked at least 2 nights to be able to go on the early morning tour to Kruger.

The bathroom was outside the room and shared with two other rooms. The road to the accommodation is a nightmare.

I arrived late and was warmly welcomed and fed. The volunteers managing the hostel were very helpful. The room is spacious and the bed has a mosquito net. The best thing is probably that the accommodation is in Marloth Park meaning that animals are coming to the porch to say good morning.
